Street Coffee And Bagels — Restaurant in Everett

I stopped in because I thought the bagels looked so good (they are) however my experience with the girl at the window wasn’t the best. Very beautiful woman with brown hair, and a very horrible attitude. As I pulled up I started to ask questions and I could tell she was super annoyed she had to speak to me. I got really self conscious and just ordered my usual coffee and a salmon bagel for my husband and I. She literally crushed my bagel because she pushed it into my hand so fast and aggressively. The coffee came out of the top and spilled all over my hand because she was quite literally shoving it with what seemed like all her force. She wouldn’t make eye contact, and she was possibly gas one of the coldest personalities I’ve seen come from a barista in my time in Washington. I asked her if she was the only one working as I signed the check and she says to me “doesn’t look like anyone else is here, or maybe I’m blind” I tipped her $5 for her troubles and went on with my day. Absolutely won’t be coming back after spending 10 years serving tables and 5 at college for hospitality. Whoever the owner is needs to put her in check or get someone nicer! the bagel here was really impressive

just looking at the everything bagel itself - i have to say it's one of, if not the best bagels I've had. It's perfectly soft, not chewy in the slightest, and toasted to an exquisite level but not overly so. I loved every bite because while super soft, you met just that little bit of resistance that made everything better

I found that the salmon was also quite good. You can tell it's very fresh - it has that fishy taste, and definitely a clear salmon flavor without really any other additions. There was also a pretty good amount of it on the bagel itself

The part that I liked less was the cream cheese. Normally, cream cheese should give you that slightly sour yet flavorful and cheesy taste, but I didn't get any of that here. What was given as cream cheese might as well be replaced with a flavorless white paste and I don't think there'd be a huge difference

For a really cheap price, this was well worth it, and pretty filling Was it worth the line? Probably not, but definitely something nice to have as a one-time experience

Overall, a really good bagel + salmon combo...

I have been to Street Bagels and Coffee multiple times, and the service is consistently disappointing. The staff member working the counter is always rude, impatient, and clearly uninterested in being there. I understand that working in a busy environment can be stressful, but this is no excuse for the lack of basic customer service skills. Management needs to address this issue, possibly by hiring more staff to alleviate the workload. The current situation is ruining the experience for customers, including myself, and it’s unacceptable to continue operating this way. It's a shame because the food and coffee are good, but the poor service makes it hard to justify...
