Let me preface this review by saying that I have met the owner and had casual conversations with him in the past. He seemed like a very nice man. The employees are also top notch. Today I went to Sharetea Everett. I was told by an employee that I was required to wear a mask. I explained that I was following CDC guidelines and would not wear a mask. They asked me to leave. I asked to speak with the owner. He was not in but the employee did provide his cell phone number. I made a telephone call to the owner and explained that I was told to leave his store because I wasn’t wearing a mask. He told me that it was a private store and he could do what he pleases. I explained that the CDC says that vaccinated people are of no threat of spreading COVID. I explained that the head of the NIAID, who is also the Chief Medical Advisor to the President of the United States has said that the type of masks commonly warn don’t actually do much to protect against the spread of the virus. I expressed to the owner that we should believe in the science of what our government experts are telling us. The owner told me that he did not have to follow the science. He said that some of his staff were unvaccinated so they are still wearing masks and therefore he expected the customers to also wear a mask. I said if the owner believes that while his employees are wearing masks that they are protected from COVID what sense does it make to have vaccinated people wear masks? The Doctor’s and Scientists who are experts on the subject say vaccinated people do not spread this virus. That is why we get vaccinated. At this point in the conversation the owner asked my name. I told him again. I had identified myself at the start of the call. He said that he is the owner and he can do what he wants. He said that I was not welcome in his store and to not ever return. There was some friction in our conversation but I believe the discord was mostly polite. Neither he nor I used any foul language. It truly made me sad that I could not return to the store. This was the equivalent of a six-year-old child taking his ball and going home. I didn’t not realize that the owner was this sensitive. What happened to the America where people could disagree without being banned or canceled? I would have been happy to simply not return until the owner started to follow the science and guideline provided by this country’s experts. I am not sure why the owner would insist on believing fantasy over reality or why he believes that as a store owner he should control patron’s attire. It might be a control issue? I don’t really know. If you like Sharetea do not express any facts that disagree with the owner’s opinion because he will not hesitate to banish you. His business must be booming if he can so casually dispose of a customer. Sad Day

** Response to the owner’s response follows: The owner says he is “Dead Serious” about this virus. He is so serious that if a patron refuses wear a mask in compliance with the owner’s person fiat, his employee may ask to go outside with you to take your order, like some kind of secondclass citizen. Presumably the employee will do so face to face and then take the customers payment method to the register and return. Then bring the order to the patron thus increasing close personal contact. “Dead Serious” about safety, yep. Maybe the owner should create a back entrance for people he considers unclean. Remember when America had separate entrances for certain people? Is this the future he sees? He said that I have written false information. Everything I said is true. He said I was rude to his employees. I only stated facts. In this day and age it seems hard for some people to hear facts that disagree with their opinions. One final note. It is deceitful to pretend masks work in situations where they do not help. Even if you are doing it to make some people feel good it is still a lie. Forcing vaccinated customers participate in his deception is beyond the pale. The owner should not force his customers to take a role in his...

Worst service ever!! I had to have my order redone for 4 times today because every time, something was messed up about it!! My order was Taro with 30% sweetness and boba. The first order I got was not Taro! I asked them to correct it, I got full sweetness. I came back again and asked them to fix it, they made it 0% sugar! I asked them to correct it, and they said we are out of boba and you have to wait for at least 15 minutes to get my order! This was around 2pm so they should have plenty of boba given that the place primarily sells bubble tea! I was okay at the beginning until I saw them handing out drinks with boba for people that came after me!! I asked for a manager and they refused and said they don’t have one on duty! I waited the above mentioned 15 minutes while watching everyone else who came after me get their orders with boba! When I asked about my order, they said you have to wait for another 15minutes!! What in the world?! I told them that I already waited and this is not acceptable. Then, magically, after a minute, my order got ready!! Even after all the wait, the drink I got was terrible, as if it was mixed with water or something!! I dealt with a total of 4 employees or so today and all of them were super rude and kept on messing my order!! I want some form of a reimbursement for the bad service and bad product!! I never felt more humiliated and mistreated than today!! Customer service was terrible and would not go back to this branch again! I highly recommend a customer service training for every single employee...

uh so my boyfriend and i misread the grand opening deal. we thought it was buy ONE classic black milk tea with boba get one free. we were gonna do B1G1 free on the milk tea and get five other drinks.

turns out it was buy ANY drink get one classic milk tea free. and despite all of the people in front of us (apparently lots of groups buying in one order, plus students there to just hang out with friends), we somehow made sub 30... we ended up with TEN milk teas for buying five drinks, aka fifteen total drinks. i feel sorry for all of the employees who had to put it all together, but they were all really nice. (really impressed with the woman shouting the order numbers. it was loud in there and everyone could hear her clearly!)

and yes, i am enjoying all of the tea. it's all really good and i have lots to share with my family (aka the reason i went and ordered 5 despite coming with only one other person). i was pleasantly surprised by the peach mojito! i also went with some drinks i KNEW my family and i liked, such as wintermelon tea and the ice blended matcha with red bean...

Good drinks ruined by horrible customer service. Friday Nov 29 ~5 pm. Three girls are working and we ask them to add boba to an UNMADE drink. They tell us it costs extra, so we offer to pay to add boba to our UNMADE drink. I don’t know how many times I have to say unmade because it’s 2 seconds to scoop it into the cup. I told them I would pay the 75 cents to add boba but they refused to add it to my UNMADE drink. They couldn’t take off the top and put a scoop in. They couldn’t put a scoop in while they were making the drink. I understand that boba costs money. I wanted to BUY boba to put in my UNMADE drink. (I accidentally posted this to the Lynnwood location instead of Everett) I also understand that there could be new employees but there should always be a manager on shift to guide less experienced employees.

I got this matcha with red bean and ice cream for the 2nd time because I didn’t like it the first time. Now that I got it again I can confirm I don’t like their matcha ice blended drinks because after a few sips the drink is watered down. It’s really not worth $7. They need to figure out the ratio of ingredients on this drink. Would not recommend. I think their fruit tea drinks might be better to try next time. Besides the drink, service is very fast. Great job.
