Apocalypse Design Inc — Local services in Fairbanks

I ordered/purchased a item from them. When I was at the store the lady helping me how I needed to wear the item and became annoyed when I asked any type of questions.

When I did place the order for the item it took forever to get, after months of waiting I had to call to learn the statues of the item just to find out that it was still not done and they could not and would not give me a time frame as to when it might be finished. I waited a few more months before calling back for an update just to find out, the item had been done for awhile, I had not received any calls from them to tell me that it was finished. The lady that I talked to was very rude and had horrible customer service.

After a few months of having my item I had to take it back to Apocalypse to get a two things fixed. when I first called the lady said that it would be at no charge being that I had gotten the item from them. They kept it for several days and still did not call me when it was finished, I had to call them. When I arrived at the store I was charged for what I was told would be free of charge being that I got the item from them, and one one of the two things were fixed.

They are snobs, they never call back plus the unwillingness to help. I have purchased mittens, and other things. The product is ok but way better price and way better customer service other places like Big rays. Better product for the price. Apocalypse is unhelpful at all aspects, i have asked for help over the phone and left full message as well as number on 3 different occasions over the the last 12 years and nothing but crickets. Buy Canadian goods as they are way better suited for the arctic and for mushing the kenai area has way better products.

I wear my Expedition Parka during my northern light trip at Coldfoot Alaska at the end of 2019. It is a big/huge parka but I must to say, it is a great and comfortable parka. No matter if it is -15F or -40F outside the temperature inside this parka is pretty consistent, not too hot and not cold too. If you do not mind about it's huge size, you will appreciate it's performance.
