Lovers — Local services in Federal Way

I came into lovers on 10/9 was excited to buy some sexy outfits for my upcoming honeymoon as well as any other fun items I might see while there. I was greeted by a very polite and friendly employee (Jennifer) who was more than willing to help me find what I was looking for and even hooked me up with some items I didn't even know I wanted😉 Unfortunately for me and the other customers, Jennifer's coworker (I think Ruth?) was not any help at all! She made no attempt to greet or help any customers that came into the store. I mentioned my honeymoon several times in hopes she would step up and do HER JOB so Jennifer didn't have to keep running all over to help all of us by herself; and so she wouldn't have to keep politely telling me she'd be right back to help me. Then I was shocked to hear her say she was going on break! Leaving Jennifer alone in the store with at minimum 5 customers! Needless to say because of only one employee being available to us, our shopping experience took much longer than it should have and I felt more hesitant to ask for help. The store was very clean and nicely set up, with lots of fun items to catch the eye; although I was disappointed in the extremely limited clothing size options. There was almost no small or medium sizes and not one extra small to be found. I did walk away with a bag of goodies that I'm excited about, but if Jennifer hadn't been helping me I probably wouldn't have found what I needed. I asked for a comment card and was told they aren't available so I'm writing this review instead. I think the employees in this store are excellently trained to start yelling as soon as a customer of color comes in asking for refund for badly made products. Advise if you’re not white and can’t yell louder than the lady in the store don’t buy from here because they will sell you a bad product and train their employees to keep yelling repeatedly and loudly “we don’t do returns!” If your products don’t work as expected and don’t match the description on the box, please hear the customer out! Shady store which will do anything to make money off of you, but beware when taking your money your skin color doesn’t matter but it becomes worth yelling at you when you walk in to inform them that the products don’t match the...

My boyfriend and I went shopping here today and the manager there made some unnecessary comments towards my boyfriend which I was not ok with.
