Mattress Firm FEDERAL WAY CROSSING — Hotel in Federal Way

On Wed. July 28th....my wife bought a bed from Mattress Firm. She needed to get a bed to help support her lower back. The sales rep (Olivia) spent over an hour with my wife. Olivia wanted to make sure that the mattress that my wife bought...would fit her needs perfectly. My wife found a bed that she loved. Olivia said that bed would be delivered the same day. She also said that since it was a new bed..it would be a little stiffer than the one that my wife laid on in the store. My wife wanted me to sleep on the new mattress to break it in for her. Well....I slept on that mattress that night. When I woke up Thursday morning.....I had discovered that I was still in the same sleeping position that I went to bed in. I was shocked! Usually...I wake up several times during the night. I toss and turn from my left side.....to my back'.....and to my right side. This has been going on for years. But this time it was different. I could not believe that I did not wake up during the night to toss and turn. I felt refreshed and energized! I had the same results when I slept on the mattress on Thursday and Friday night. I knew that at some point my wife was going to want to sleep on her new mattress. Then I would have to go back sleeping on my old bed. I could not go back to doing that! I went down to Mattress Firm on Sat. July 31st. I bought my own bed. Again..it was Olivia Giles who helped me. I am so impressed with Olivia's knowledge of the Mattress Firm family of beds. Finally, all that I have to say is this: What ever the "Mattress Firm" company is paying Olivia...its not enough. She deserves a substantial...

Since their online ordering was affected by the snow storms in Texas and my delivery was rescheduled far more out than I wanted, I decided to go into the store and see what they could do. Linda helped me out and while I ordered the Tempur-Pedic LuxeBreeze mattress (top of the line) and she had one in stock, I mentioned that I was a side sleeper and she suggested a mattress that was $1000 less than the one I ordered and said I should try it both before committing to a cancel/reorder of the same mattress.

I ended up liking the other mattress better and that allowed me to get some extra goodies like an adjustable frame, two day delivery instead of the 2 week postponed delivery. Also, I found that in store deals are better than what I found online which also saved me money.

I had applied for and gotten the 0% financing through Synchrony. Because most of the credit on that account was used by the canceled order, Linda was able to call Synchrony and explain the situation with the delayed shipping and me ultimately canceling that order. Synchrony was able to adjust my credit limit temporarily to make up the difference of both the canceled order and new cost. This allowed me to keep the 0% financing and not have to wait for the canceled funds to be "available" again.

My husband and I went to Firm Mattress today looking for a new mattress because our old one is just terrible, and we haven’t been sleeping well at all. We thought it would be a quick trip, maybe 20 minutes since the store closes at 6:00 pm, and we just wanted to find something and head out. Right from the start, Judy greeted us with a big smile and was super nice. She took her time to walk us through all the different mattresses, explaining why it’s important to pick the right one for our needs. She let us try out all of them, making sure we really checked out every feature and what they had to offer. Thanks to her patience and help, we tried a bunch of mattresses around the store until we finally found the one that felt right. And the best part? Judy stayed with us way past closing, until 8:30 pm! She was so helpful, friendly, and made the whole process really easy and even fun. We also want to give a big shoutout to Penny, Judy’s manager, who helped us finish up the purchase. Both Judy and Penny were amazing, so helpful, patient, and kind throughout the whole thing. Their teamwork really made a stressful situation so much smoother.
