My older sister had recently undergone surgery and was craving Pad See Ew. I recommended that we dine at Thai Bistro, and we proceeded there together. My sister ordered the Pad See Ew, while I opted for the tofu Pad Thai. My Pad Tofu Thai appeared appetizing and tasted satisfactory. Conversely, her Beef Pad See Ew looked unappealing, with mushy and dried noodles cut into small pieces. Initially, it resembled the stir-fried beef with onion and basil. However, the taste was subpar. After the server delivered our food, she failed to check on us until we finished our meal. I inquired if the Pad See Ew was supposed to appear that way, and she replied affirmatively. I expressed my concern regarding its mushy and dried texture. The color was inconsistent with the Pad See Ew I had previously encountered at numerous Thai restaurants. Upon her confirmation, she promptly departed, leaving us with the check. We settled the bill and departed. Visual evidence is available for review. Ideally, Pad See Ew should consist of long, wide noodles with dark sweet soy sauce and a more generous sauce serving, rather than the shredded and pale version depicted. On other occasions, my wife ordered the seafood pad Thai, which came out cold, and most importantly, the scallop was cold, soft, and tasted fishy. The server never came by to check on us. We do not plan to return anytime soon. In short, this establishment is somewhat cluttered, the server dropped off the menu, gave us some water, and took off for a long time. Then she came back to take our order. Once she took our order, dropped off the food, she never came back to check on us. She also said, “Cảm ơn” which means “Thank you” in Vietnamese. She assumed we were Vietnamese…, but we weren’t. We just have an idea of what it meant since we know simple phrases for 5-6 different languages.

The food here is a pure flavour bomb. It was so hard to choose what to eat because everything on the menu sounded so delicious. We ended up with Chicken Pad Thai, Crispy noodles with chicken, shrimp, squid and beef and they were both fantastic. We also had an appetizer which was a Thai version of a lettuce wrap but it's made with pieces of lime, peanuts, toasted coconut, dried shrimp, onions, ginger and spinach. At first I was like IDK if I like this because of the huge sour punch from the lime but by the end of the second bite I was loving it. It was incredibly refreshing and the gingery tamarind sauce that came with it was the perfect accompaniment. My Pad Thai was a little sweet for my liking but it was still fantastic and the chicken helped to bring up the savory notes. My husband's crispy noodle dish was perfect. The noodles were well fried, not greasy and the oil they used to fry them was fresh. They served the protein with sauce separately so you can either keep your noodles crispy or mix it all together. The meats were tender, the vegetables were crisp and everything was served hot. This is also a great place for a date. The music isn't loud, the decore is beautiful and the ambiance is kind of romantic. It was an excellent dining experience we will definitely be back for more.

I will start with the 1 negative this place had which was if you order online, be warned that you will NOT get the full meal OR be required to pay extra for it. I have usually gone in person and have ordered the Yellow curry before, it comes with rice and then I usually order extra rice for a fee, no big deal. However this time, today I ordered my lunch Togo online. I selected the Curry and I selected the extra rice for a extra charge. When I picked up my order, I checked it as I would any to go order and saw I only had 1 rice in the bag. When I asked about it, I was told that when you order online, you don't get rice with the meal at all. So I'm paying the same price for the meal as someone who walks in and sits down but I don't get the same meal, why I asked? She said it was to offset the cost of having an order online option. Completely ridiculous! So be warned when ordering online that you may not get your full meal or be forced to pay more for it. I won't be doing that again. The positives were that the place is nice inside and food is very good. However I now have a bad taste in my mouth for this place now. Lots of Thai restaurants around that are just as good and won't do that to you.

Management, you have a lot of talent here, but you lack consistency. Do not turn into the McD of Thai food where something is prepared differently on a Saturday than it was last Wednesday or two weeks prior.

If I ask for a 5 star spice level and it's a 1 star on delivery, what is going on with the communication in the kitchen? I also noticed your public food safety rating is "good" instead of being "excellent." You need to get a handle on the kitchen. I've dined in and ordered take-out more than I can count at your restaurant. I see a decline. Maybe it's with management or maybe it's something else. The person who took my order never smiled. She almost seemed irritated that I was giving her business. I'm spending over $50 and the person who took my order is acting like I'm a bother to her. I don't know what customers or family/staff issues you had with someone else before me, but I'm not those people. I'm a customer. Leave your bad attitude at the door before you come into work. I hope you're not the owner or manager because I doubt you'll change. This is likely my last time I ever go back to Thai Bistro. So much potential down the drain.

Btw, I can see the layers and layers of dust on your inner decor like it hasn't been cleaned in 6 years. Pay a team to clean everything overnight when the restaurant is closed. ...
