Terrible, I’ve gotten waxed several times before, and when I came here I wanted to cry. They had asked me if it was alright if someone watched me get my wax done as they were being trained, they supposed “trainee” just watched me get undressed and had to leave to get more sticks since they had ran out, opening and closing the door when I was already undressed. The trainee ended up leaving after they brought the sticks. (Literally saw me speak eagle for no reason) I almost walked out mid wax because I couldn’t take it anymore but I felt that the wax had dripped down and realized there was not going back. There was a point where there was just a ball of wax on me and she kept adding more wax and trying to rip it off but the only thing she was doing was pulling my hair and the wax but not taking it off. Like making taffy with it, it was awful. She could not get this ball of wax off and proceeded to take tiny scissors to it, taking a bit off the top then she starts trying to PICK at the wax with the scissors to try to remove it from my skin, which only ended up stabbing me instead :,) overpriced, and awful service PLEASE go...
Read moreI’ve been going to Kally threading in Lakewood for about 2 years. I’ve always gotten the same color. I know how the process works. I came to this location tonight to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted. I asked for a much darker color than my natural eyebrows and she started telling me it was going to be really dark after she started tinting them. I could feel how much tint was going outside of my eyebrow line while she was tinting them. I said yes I know, I prefer them dark. After she wiped the tint off, she showed me my eyebrows and I almost started laughing. The color was fine, it’s the same as what I always get. What was bad was that she got the tint all over the skin around my eyebrows. After wiping them the first time, I looked like I had giant blocks for eyebrows. I commented on how much tint was still on my skin, she had me sit down to wipe them again and even after, it looked very bad. When I got to my car, I used a tissue and some water to scrub at the skin, it helped enough to look presentable. I know it will fade more after I wash my face, but this was a much different experience than I...
Read moreThis place is hit or miss. Lately, I’ve had bad experiences every time I come here. It feels like the staff doesn’t really care about doing brows properly anymore. I understand they’re human, but I’m paying $25 for this service. If you don’t understand what I’m asking for, please don’t say “okay” and then do something completely different. I specifically asked for ombré brows, but instead, I ended up with sharp, harsh brows. I’m really disappointed. I used to really love this place—the staff used to be amazing, and I’d leave impressed every single time. They had some of the best ladies who truly cared about their work. I genuinely hope this place improves because I want to...
