We arrived to find leaving customers and upset customers. 2 of the staff completely abandoned their shift and did absolutely nothing. While waiting a little amount, the first amazing person came out. Dee came over and got right on everything and made sure we were taken care of. She followed up and explained everything while apologizing for the situation. She made the point to be know of her hard work and dedication to her position. She did an outstanding job and did the work of 4 people if not more. As we got to talking, Amanda came over to make sure everything was good and verified that we were satisfied. We had a great conversation and both girls did a fabulous job.
The Cards dealt tonight easily set that place up for negative reviews and failure. Dee and Amanda gave beyond what most would ever do. That’s what set them apart from the others and shows the review they deserve.
Dee and Amanda explained the hardships and frustrations they face as they are sent to help rebuild. They both deserve raises and a nice paid vacation after dealing with they do.
I have nothing but respect for them and appreciate everything they did for us.
From the bottom of my heart I thank you both for the hard work and determination.
For people visiting this review, the restaurant is facing a hardship of short staff and staffing issues. If you visit, please visit with respect and give them a chance. They’re working at full speed ahead on blown cylinders. They’re doing their best. A negative review or a bad attitude makes their day worse. We’re all humans, give them a smile and peace. We all...
Read moreDecided to eat here Halloween night so the kids could get the Scary Face pancakes for free. To start with, we waited a good 45 minutes before receiving our food even though the restaurant was mostly empty. My Colorado omelet was good, but that was about the only thing. My bacon was cold. My wife's eggs were cold. She did not receive her sausage at first. She had to ask for it, and when it was brought to her, it was only 1 piece when it should have been 2. The toast my wife was brought was hard as a rock! She had to get the waitress to bring fresh toast. The kid's pancakes were ok even though they didn't have the same stuff on them as the pictured ones. (grapes instead of strawberries, chocolate chips instead of candy corn which was fine). The kid's hashbrowns where undercooked on the top and burnt on the bottom. When we advised the manager of this, she stated that it was "because they were wet". When the bill was brought to us, the pancakes were not listed as free. We were charged for both of the kid's pancakes. When the waitress was advised of this, she stated that she was unaware of the promotion even though it was posted on EVERY table in the restaurant! They had to take the receipt back twice to fix this because the first time, the waitress tried to remove the charges herself, but she didn't remove the full amount of the cost. The manager had to revise it herself. After describing the rest of the issues to the manager, she seemed unphased and uncaring and did not offer to provide any sort of reconciliation for the poor food and experience we had here. Never...
Read moreI don't know who the district management is for this restaurant but they should really know they are awful for their incredibly poor staffing for this restaurant. Being that you are one of the very few establishments that stay open on Christmas day almost guarantees you will have a steady flow of travelers and other various customers coming in. And honestly, we expected it to be busy and that we would potentially have to wait for service. This being said, when we got there the entire staff consisted of the GM, 1 waitress, 2 cooks and, 2 other poor souls who appeared to be family of an employee just trying to help. They were busting it as best as they could but there was absolutely no reason for any business to do that to their employees. I get that it is hard to higher and retain good workers but come on... Just close if you can't staff it. Or make it worth the other employees time missing their Christmas to be at work by paying them well. I will applaud those people who were there. They at least showed up and worked their butts off. Was the food good? Not really. There was no butter on the pancakes, our omlettes were a mess, half the food took forever and our cups stayed dry. But still the GM and others never stopped moving so I had full grace for them and made sure to tip them well. They did not deserve that kind of treatment from their employers!!! Luckily the other patrons that I saw there had grace with them as well. But it was an absolute mess and the higher management should BE ABSOLUTELY ASHAMED to let their employees and customers down...
