Great American Cookies — Local services in Flowood

Ordered a cookie cake and went to pick up. First thing I noticed was there is no mask requirement posted on the door. The guy said the cake wasn't ready yet and needed to cooled. I was standing there and I watched him grab the cake and move it with his bare hands. I told him he isn't wearing gloves and asked for a refund because its unsanitary and that I'm buying it for my elderly parents. The girl behind the counter then tells me they don't wear gloves because that's cross contamination. My fiancee pulls up their corporate website and shows her they are supposed to wear gloves and she continues to insist they aren't, despite the fact the other employee is wearing gloves.

Went to this place earlier today with my wife because we had a sweet craving. The place looked and smelled nice. The young lady that serviced us with the cookies was very polite, however her co-worker (an older white female) treated me VERY NASTY, at the time I was the only black in the store and she stared at me with disgust and hardly wanted to service me when it came time to pay. My wife who is also half caucasian noticed the same thing before I could say anything. My wife and I are new to the area and just Moved to MS from MI. I absolutely loved my cake. It was easy to place an order online . When I picked it up all I had to do was let the staff now who I was picking up for . The cake was 50 dollars but it was HUGE and super soft and tasty. We were hosting a birthday party for 25 plus people and everybody was able to get a slice.
