I will start by saying Georgia Blue is one of my favorite restaurants and I frequent the various locations often. However, our experience last night was awful. If I could give the customer service a negative star rating, I would. When we arrived for dinner around 7pm, they were out of so many things. They did not have lemonade or fruit punch or any type of kid friendly beverage options, so we ordered water all around the table, with the exception of one sweet tea, which tasted like unsweetened tea. We asked for lemon wedges, which are complimentary at every place Iâve been. The waitress, Felicity, apparently became disgruntled that we asked for lemon wedges, because she said that if she brought any more lemons to the table the manager said we would be charged (?!?!). When the manager, Jake, came over to table, to justify his actions, he stated we had over 12 lemon slices and that it was costing him too much product (now if you take a 30 cents lemon, you can get 6-8 wedges/slices out of it. Iâm curious as to how they would even ring up a lemon to charge). We had over $100 of food on the table, and although some of it was bland, we didnât complain about the food or the lack of beverage options. We werenât even able to enjoy our food which we ended up packing up to go after being treated this way over lemons. To add insult to injury, they served my husband RAW salmon!! It was severely undercooked (see photos). Jake refused to provide a number for corporate office or customer support and was adamant that we use an online feedback form (which conveniently goes to the manager of the location - him or Reese, who he also refused to provide contact info for).
I have never had that type of petty, trifling, trivial, customer experience at a place I gladly spend $100+ every time I go. We came to this location last month and left a $100 tip alone; and the food and service is usually spectacular!! But I cannot and will not spend money or tip for subpar, downright rude service. Hindsight is 20/20. Thinking back when the waitress brought about 5 lemon slices to the table, she looked at us and quipped, âIs this enough lemons?â to which I didnât think anything of at the time, but now I realize she was being snarky and had nothing better to do with her time than count lemon slices. She could have easily been bringing refills (which we had to flag her down for), or napkins, or silverware (which we had to get from other wait staff). In fact, she didnât even bring us boxes, the manager did. The waitress also had to be flagged down so that we could pay for the food/drinks. Horrible experience last night. Will probably never visit this location again and if we do, will ensure to request any waitress/waiter but her. And will definitely send further official correspondence regarding this experience.
I really want to buy them a case of lemons, if times are that hard. A 3lb. bag of lemons literally costs approximately $3, smh. With 12-15 lemons in a bag, for $3, you can yield 96-120 slices of lemon.

Read moreI ordered $80 worth of carry out. I tend to eat carry out here at least once a month. Every time I get carry out they show me the food. I get it was busy because today was Motherâs Day but the woman (she was Asian, I donât care about her race but I donât want the blame on someone else)at the counter was rude and unprofessional. First, when grabbing my order she let an item fall out of the bag. She kinda just stood there and looked at it. Finally another worker came up and put it in the bag. Also she didnât show me my order, which they do every single time I order carry out. But I understood because it was Motherâs Day and it was busy. When I got home my fiancĂ© realized that his wings were not in the order. So he called the restaurant and let them know that we would be returning for them. Once there I returned to the counter for the wings with my receipt. The same woman told me that I did not pay for the wings. Then I showed her that the wings were on the receipt and she now said that I never paid for the entire order. I explained that I directly handed her $90. It was a very awkward exchange and honestly made me extremely embarrassed in front of the customers waiting and the staff. The woman basically scoffed it off and never apologized. I left very confused and generally upset.
The food was great as usual. Iâm so sorry to be leaving a 1 star review. But I have never had an encounter at a restaurant before that left me feeling so embarrassed...
Read moreI really hate to give 2 stars but I have to. I'll cover the issues based on category:
Foodborne illness: My mother and I both ended up with severe diarrhea from something in the tacos. Possibly the Pico de Gallo or lettuce because she had the Mahi tacos and I had the shrimp tacos. I'm certain the illness came from the food at this restaurant because she and I had not shared any meals together aside from this one. We both live separately and eat separately and we're traveling to meet and ate this food and both became ill at the same time and for a solid day. The illness started about 12 hours after eating.
Price to quantity ratio: The price didn't really match the product. That's essentially it. Portions were fine for me bc I don't eat a lot but I know some would be disappointed. The entrees were more like $10-$15 entrees, not $20+.
Despite the major issue of food causing people to be sick, there were a lot of positives about the place, which is why I give 2 stars instead of 1.
The location is great, the atmosphere is pleasant, the hostess was very professional (that was our only contact because we had take-out), and the recipes themselves looked and tasted wonderful (again, aside from the whole bacterial growth issue).
I probably won't go back though and I hate that because I wanted to like this place but it's just not worth it to expose yourself and your family to sickness like that.
Be careful if you decide to eat here. Order...
