Horrible place to buy video games and accessories. not all, but most employees are extremely rude. It's almost impossible to get someone to help you. The store is so cramped that you can barely squeeze through it! I am 30 years old and have been shopping here for years along with my 29 year old brother. We have a membership here and are on the highest status they have. Everyone who works here has helped us check out numerous times (like 10× each+). Yet every time, we are forced to show them our ID's. It's insulting and humiliating, especially when there are a bunch of people standing around watching and listening! No other place has EVER ONCE ID'd me. I obviously don't look like I'm 16 years old but continuously am treated like I'm trying to pull a fast one over on them.. It reached a tipping point yesterday and I will NEVER go back and shop here! I'm done. Cancelled my membership and magazine subscription for good! I recommend nobody shop at this horrible store or any game stop for that manner! You can find games on eBay or pawn shops for even less $$ where you aren't treated like you are here! Read moreDO NOT USE the same day delivery. I ordered a new console yesterday and received an email that said it would be delivered within 2 hours. Later on I received another email stating that it didn’t go out for delivery and then it would be the next day. The following day I called to find out when it will be delivered and they said that it will be delivered the following day. So….2 days later from the SAME DAY delivery. I guess GameStops idea of same day delivery is not what the rest of us think it means. I asked for a refund and they said it can take up to 15 days to do an investigation with their carrier and then if its not delivered to me then they’ll issue a refund. This sure seems ridiculous and unfair! They can know within a couple of minutes these days where a package is located with a tracking number. Bottom line. You order online with same day delivery, you’ll get your package when you get it and too bad so sad, you can’t do anything anout it. Such poor...
Read moreI went in to trade some games. It was late and there was single employee behind the counter. The worker didn’t ring everything up but took an extra 3 discs. When it came time to either take the credit and go, or buy something… Virtually every game I asked him about, he claimed was actually out of stock, or how it was resurfaced and no good. He then went on a rant about how to spot a reseller, talking about how they want original cases and manuals after I had just told him about what I was after for my collection? Reselling is your ENTIRE business and you have the audacity to try to take a jab at me? But okay, at least im not the one working at GameStop and being upset that customers are buying good games. Go support local business rather than this garbage. Oh, and apparently Yakuza on the PS2 is a racist game and gen Z will cancel you if you play it according to gregg....
