We planned a family meet-up to spend some quality time together. Patricia reached out to us a few days before our arrival to make sure everything was in place. When we arrived ample staff greeted us immediately, whisking our family's luggage from our transportation into their proper rooms. At the same time we were warmly received by multiple staff members at check-in who introduced themselves and asked if we needed anything. Paige continued the warm reception with a happy attitude and got us checked into our rooms.|||We had two absolutely beautiful ocean view rooms. The bathrooms felt like a spa unto themselves. The furniture with wood accents and the overall room layouts were superb in addition to excellent materials throughout. A designer's & architect’s touch without a doubt is present. Each room was spacious and had a large outdoor covered balcony with a dining table along with other seating. The rooms had smart levels of lighting and a tablet that served multiple purposes for everything from in-room dining ordering to housekeeping requests. During hot humid Florida days the rooms stayed perfectly conditioned. We received a few custom-written notes throughout our stay with multiple welcome gifts which were delightfully done.|||The pool area had both a separate adult and family pool that were somewhat isolated from one another. This area was nicely looked after and another feature of the hotel we enjoyed a lot. Speaking of which, a small mini golf area was such a fun activity that we did as a family every day. It was covered as well from the elements. Whether we were on the way to/from the beach, dinner, or just strolling around. It was a neat activity that we couldn’t resist just one swing at when we passed by. The entire hotel was nicely looked after at which seemed to be at the highest standards. Everything was excellently maintained. Nothing ever looked worn out. There was a large production cast with actors filming a commercial while we were there which was interesting to see. A wedding also occurred another day. I found it impressive that with two large events happening still service never missed a beat for us.|||The house car service was flawless and something we enjoyed a lot. Jarred at the front desk was prompt to get this service set up on multiple days and was nice to talk to throughout our stay. Jarred was always there if we needed anything. Taking us a great family photo too. Jesse was a pleasure to interact with each time when using the car service. He was a professional driver and a joy to interact with. We got to experience both the Lucid Air and Moke, which did not disappoint.|||For breakfast at Evelyn’s we were attended to by Johnny. Johnny was amazing. He jump-started our day with an exciting attitude and helped us celebrate a special occasion which meant a lot to our family. Johnny made it an experience and a perfect way to begin celebrating our time together for a special occasion. Johnny was able to speak Spanish which is the native language of some of our family so he was able to connect with them on a personal level. One evening when returning from dinner we were provided a champagne toast in the exquisitely decorated lobby to celebrate the special family occasion. Another extraordinary moment. One of many during our stay.|||Anthony at the beach service did something that made us feel very looked after. My Wife was mentioning how she wished she had some gear to see the fish under the water. Which seemed like only seconds later Anthony appeared with multiple goggles and to my Wife’s delight she and our family were able to use them. The beach service was great with some tasty drinks, but that moment I felt showcased an excellent level of attentiveness by going above and beyond. Services buttons are provided as well throughout different areas as such if needed.|||I wish I could thank by name the housekeeping staff that I never had the pleasure of meeting. Unsung heroes. Both the daily and evening turn-down services were fantastic. Wow! It felt like magic. Every little detail was taken care of. From cleaning my sunglasses with and leaving a stunning Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale cleaning cloth during turn down while we were at dinner to take home, to wrapping our charging cables in a Four Seasons leather cord organizer that was provided by them. Fresh slippers. Nighty treats. The spotless bathroom that was more spa-like than a bathroom. I could go on and on. They deserve to be recognized without a doubt.|||Nothing says beach vacation like breakfast in-room dining on a balcony overlooking the ocean. We placed the order on the in-room tablet and at exactly the moment it said breakfast would be delivered Nicole arrived at our door. She joyfully set our table perfectly outside on the balcony with a fine touch. She was awesome, and we enjoyed this moment a lot. Flawless and wonderful experience.|||The spa was stunning. Very luxurious. Could have stayed there all day, and did for a long time. When the rain hits, head to the spa as Nicole said when setting up our breakfast. Chris at the spa welcomed our entire family and attended to us for multiple hours. He was patient with us. The spa was enjoyed by everyone. A comfortable and relaxing time.|||Eva at the front desk mailed some postcards for us which was thoughtful of her and she was kind to interact with. From the moment we arrived it seemed like everyone had learned our names and we were addressed as such throughout our entire stay. Jennifer was a pleasure to interact with and was always greeting us. Asking if there was anything we needed. How was our day. Our meals. She provided excellent service. Nathalie at checkout exemplified extraordinary attentiveness and a sincere attitude. A nice conversation that really put the cherry on top of a remarkable stay.|||We recapped our stay's highlights and shared with Kalie the assistant director of rooms our highest thanks. We were happy and excited to have a moment of her time to share with her our experience. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. An exceptional experience. Thank you to all the staff who made...
Read moreThe hotel is situated on the beach in a row of upscale hotels. Check in was fine, but there was only one person working the desk and there were several people waiting to check in. The lobby area is small but well appointed. The desk clerk was extremely friendly and pleasant. I had a special deal through Chase called "The Edit" which provides a hotel credit of $100, free breakfast, a space-available upgrade and late checkout. The clerk was aware of that and informed me that the Maasa restaurant was not on that plan since its privately owned. We could use their restaurant, where we ate for dinner and breakfast. Parking was $60 per night, which seemed very high but similar to other properties on the street. The resort fee was about $60 as well and we didn't use any of the supposed amenities that the fee covered. It was basically a way to get more money from us for absolutely nothing. I usually won't even stay in a hotel that charges a resort fee but made an exception. So, before even checking in we had already spent $60 on parking and $60 on the resort fee in addition to the $800 our room cost for the night. ||Our room was not available so we explored the hotel. A few hours later we received a text that the room was ready. We did not get an upgrade. ||A bellmen helped us up to the room, showed us around the room and was very nice. The room was very clean, well appointed with a nice bathroom, two sinks, a nice touch, a private toilet, a bathtub, another nice touch, and a shower . It was all marble and very attractive. There was a very large balcony with a nice view of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable, and the furnishings were very nice. There was some complimentary water in addition to the a minibar where a small packet of M & M's were $12. ||We went to the gym which was very basic with a few machines, towels, lockers which I couldn't figure out how to use, several treadmills, a few weighlifting machines, and a nice water dispenser. It was nicer that a basic motel gym but for the cost of the hotel, not up to expectations. ||After the gym we went to the pool. There are two pools, one was "adult only" but was directly next to the all family pool. The adults-only pool was surrounded by cabanas, which apparently were available for $400 rental, but there were no signs indicating that. We found out by sitting down and being told we couldn't sit there unless we paid to rent the cabana for the day. it was sunny and all of the "free" seating was in the hot sun and that was not going to work for us. There were many empty cabanas and it was quite irratating to pay $800+ for a hotel room and not be able to use the cabana without paying more. The family pool was not large and there wasn't enough seating for non-cabana guests. Kids were screaming and it was an unpleasant experience so we left the pool after a few minutes. Hardly the experience we were expecting for the price we paid. ||We ate in their cafe for dinner. It was nice with very wonderful service. Drinks averaged $25 and we ordered a house red wine, which to our surprise, was $38 a glass. The dinner was "small plates" and averaged about $25 per plate, We ordered roasted chicken which was $52, plus an eggplant spread which came with pita bread, and the most delicious dessert ever, a Dubai chocolate cake thing that was to die for. Our dinner was $235 with tip for the above-listed items. Very overpriced but very good.||The next day we had breakfast in the same place and it was $84 for a waffle, a cup of coffee and a smoked salmon plate that was served with what they call a "jerusalem bagel" which was OK but very small. They gave a very decent amount of fish on the plate, but the bagel was so tiny I needed to ask for more and the waiter brought another bagel at no charge. ||We were given late checkout but ended up leaving at noon. We tried to go to the pool again but it was crowded and full of kids screaming. ||All in all, for the money, there are much nice and more luxurious places to stay. I feel that the value for the money was very bad and I would not...
Read moreFour Seasons Fort Lauderdale is the third Four Seasons property I have tried this year and the only one worthy of a perfect rating.||I booked here after being notified that my reservation at Thompson Miami Beach was cancelled because the hotel grand opening was delayed. I watched the reviews of a few premium properties in Dade and Broward for 2 weeks before booking here. I almost booked at the Conrad next door. The poor condition of the Conrad exterior upon arriving at the Four Seasons was all the validation I needed that I made the right choice.||My six-night stay was a master class in hospitality. A truly exceptional property staffed by people who are the very best part of Four Seasons.||RECEPTION|Our rooms were ready for an AM arrival, which is always a plus. Rivas, our bellman, was great! In fact, all of the valets and bellmen were the nicest guys! I would stay here again just to catch up with these guys as they were cool dudes to talk to.||ROOMS|Beautiful, well appointed and treated in the Four Season minimalist, functional, monochromatic esthetic. Nice bathrooms and generously stocked honor bar with good variety of snacks and beverages. Kudos for no single use plastics.||Same flooring used on balconies as inside rooms which makes the outdoor space feel like an extension of the indoor space.||Housekeeping and turndown services were prompt and superb. Housekeeping highly proficient in the art of anticipation. You have every amenity before you even know you needed it.||EVELYN’S|Always good for breakfast. Johnny provided excellent service daily. The food offerings reward nicely and the chef was always sending out a little something special each day to surprise and delight.||They offer a breakfast buffet on weekends; but, I recommend sticking to the menu items. Execution problems persisted during the Saturday morning I was there. The pancakes were mid, as the kids say. They looked like low-quality machine-made fare you would expect to find at Four Points not Four Seasons.||Keep in mind that AMEX FHR food and beverage credits are good here not MAAS which isn’t considered part of the hotel. MAAS has the only Michelin star in the city so it will be on my bucket list for future visits.||SPA|Sublime! Superior service although there was no men’s locker room attendant when I was there. Lockers are pre-staged and personalized with a nice note.||Sauna and steam room will not disappoint. You will need a Stanford PhD in physics to figure out how to operate the Vichy-style shower.||The 120-minute deep dive message from Kendra was the highlight of the stay! Hot stones, foot scrub, cupping, the works. I would probably skip the cupping next time but at least tried it. Kendra was excellent! You will want to request her.||FITNESS CENTER|You can actually get your bench press on here! The bar is not part of a Smith Machine which is an extremely rare find in hotel gyms. In fact, this is the only one I have encountered in 40 years. Only enough plates to get you to about 300 lbs. but that’s good enough for most of us! ||Best flavored water machine ever, and it dispenses both sparkling and flat. ||All cardio machines face windows but only the stair machines users get direct ocean views. Others get look at the Conrad, which desperately needs a fresh coat of paint.||BEACH CLUB|They set you up nicely with chaise covers, towels and water. I spent most of the time in the ocean but was surprised by the absence of a server making rounds to take F&B orders when I was out of the water.||OVERALL|Extraordinary! Would love to return for a...
