My family and I had an extremely disappointing experience at Share Tea that has left us unwilling to return. We purchased five drinks and, due to the busy conditions inside, took them to our vehicle to enjoy. After just a few sips, we quickly realized the drinks were warm and completely lacked flavor. The taro drink I ordered tasted like nothing more than milk, with absolutely no hint of the taro flavor it was supposed to have. I even tried letting the ice cool the drink further, but it didn’t improve at all.
When my wife went back inside to ask for the drink to be remade, she was met with an aggressive and rude employee, who we suspect was the manager. He refused to remake the drinks, claiming that since we had tasted them, there was nothing he could do. Obviously, you have to taste a drink to determine if it’s any good! We hadn’t even consumed half of it. It’s infuriating, especially considering how much ice they pack into these drinks, clearly as a way to boost profits while charging premium prices.
I went inside to try to speak with him, hoping I could reason with him given my over ten years of experience as a people leader. Unfortunately, I was met with the same dismissive and rude attitude. Despite my efforts, it was clear his mind was made up. I genuinely believe his behavior was driven by racism, making us feel as though we were trying to take advantage of their establishment, despite being loyal customers for years.
He reluctantly provided me with corporate contact information, but when I tried to reach out, it became apparent that customer relations are the least of their concerns. Their contact info and website make it nearly impossible to get any meaningful response. This visit wasn’t recent, but I felt compelled to leave this review after realizing I hadn’t provided feedback yet. We haven’t returned since that horrible experience and have instead taken our business to other similar...
Read moreMy absolute favorite place to go for LACTOSE FREE quality milk teas and Boba! I also tried one of their strawberry fresh milks with pearl Boba (pictured) and it was delicious! I've gotten it a couple times since and its never tasted like artificial strawberry or overly sweet.
The staff is always incredibly polite even when the store gets busy and always is very kind about answering questions. Wonderful variety of drinks, green/black/oolong teas and highly customizable from the size of the Boba to amount of ice in the drink.
The store is always clean and bright, and is one of the few I always feel safe and comfortable going into. They do ask and enforce mask policy for the safety of both employees and other patrons. This is overall the shop I compare other Boba places to. The prices are not bad considering what you're ordering and the size of the drink. Around 4.50$ for a milk tea w/Boba. The fresh milks are a smaller cup however I am not sure on the price. They do have a rewards system set up on your phone number and you can earn free drinks!
Personal favorites: -Classic black milk tea with pearl Boba 100% sweetness and ice (lactose free) -Hokaido pearl black tea with 100% ice 50% sweetness (lactose free) -Strawberry fresh milk (not lactose free) with mini pear...
Read moreGo to a different boba place. I visit this location two days ago with my husband and ordered a matcha pearl milk tea while my husband ordered the panda milk tea. Today I brought my two daughters to order again the matcha pearl milk tea, but the employee must have heard our order wrong even though when asked what kind of tea I wanted I told him Matcha! When we picked up our drinks it was wrong so we let one of the female employees know and she asked for us to pay for the difference in price which was fine. Then that employee leaves to the back leaving one female employee alone making all the drinks. I waited 20 minutes for my drinks only because I had to ask for them. The worst part was that she made me feel like it was my mistake. I don’t expect great customer service but the attitude directed to me was not needed when it was the male employees mistake. There were so many employees there, but only 1 making drinks? I actually lost my cool. If you end up going here don’t tip at register. Tip in cash after you get your drink because the service most likely will be terrible. Read the reviews on google and yelp. It’s an often occurrence. Just save yourself the frustration and time. Go to Gongcha or Ding Tea where it’s...
