i love how pretty the store is but i am really disappointed in the service:( i came in 8 days ago and was paying out and the girl asked me for my email so i gave it to her and then she asked for my phone number and i asked her what it was for and she then proceeded to tell me it was for creating an altars state account. i told her i did not want to make one and so she cancelled the process and checked me out. i was very weirded out by the fact that they were trying to get my information to make an account with them without letting me know that that’s what they were doing. i ended up not wanting the dress so yesterday i came to return it and the girl asked me for my email, i told her i didn’t have an account and wasn’t interested, she goes on to ask for my phone number and i told her i was not interested in signing up for an account so she told me to click the “x” button. she stared at the screen for a bit and then asked me for my first and last name and so i told her and then i asked what it was for and she said it was for an account. i was so tired of this whole situation i just stood there. she proceeded to tell me in order to do a return i “HAD” to have an account with them. i looked it up and i do not have to have an account with altard state in order to do a return as long as i have the receipt and the card i used.(which i had) so i am over all really upset on how they disrespect a customer’s “no” and how they go behind the customers back just for their own benefit or the...
Read moreIf I could give this racist place a zero star I would! The customer service is horrible and they are all racist! My sister and I went in to look at these tops that looked nice. As we went in thought the place was nice, but we were totally blinded by the act. We went in and liked some shoes. The size was really small and we were trying them on. On the other side there was another girl (she was caucasian), doing the exact same. We couldn't help but notice a woman (employee) staring at us and passing by about every minute and even more when my muslim friend with a hijab came in, but we ignored this and went on with our shopping. We finaly decide to buy the shoes. We bought 2 shoes and were only given 1 small bag. Not only is that bad, but when we asked for another bag we were told that they don't have any more. That was a LIE!!! The girls behind us were also buying items but treated much differently(better) than we were and given 2 bags with tissue. My little sister asked me why I she did not get a nice bag like theirs. So, in order to get a bag to hold their items we went to gap which did not ask us a question and gave us wonderful service. If you were with your little sibling shopping and you were in my place what would you do or what could you say? And if this business does not reply to me it is that they are admitting to their mistakes because they have obviously replied to everyone else's good and bad reviews. I am very...
Read moreI love Altar D state and the sales associates are always friendly and bubbly. But last time i was there was a total disappointment. I was looking for a pair of jeans i saw online, and an older sales associate lady came up to me and asked me if she could help me, i told her yes, i was looking for jeans, and she rudely stated "Well, you passed them, they are right in front of the store." i was shocked by her attitude. She followed me to the table were the jeans were displayed and was hovering behind me. I was comparing the jeans to the picture online. she then Rudely stated "we don't have names for jeans in store like we do online. The jeans you see is the only colors we have and we do not go by names" and i told her that was fine. I was hoping she would walk away and let me look at them with my husband. And again she repeated her self. I told her i understood and if she could please let me look at the jeans and make my decision. she walked away. Maybe she was having a bad day, but being rude to people is not okay, especially if you work for a Faith...
