I went to the printing department to print out a resume today. I was approached by someone from the department to assist since I needed to print my resume on resume paper. I was told the printer is self explanatory and that I would need to pick up my copies tomorrow. Never in my life has Staples made me pick up resume copies as it takes only a few seconds to print, clicking just a few things. I told the lady that I had never faced this issue before and she made me talk to the lead name “Angie.”
Angie approached me with an attitude regarding picking up my order tomorrow, stating “idk who you spoke to” and I told her I never had this issue before and that I’d like to print my resume today on resume paper as it would only take a few seconds/minutes. What I don’t understand is why couldn’t she just tell me they had printing paper for me to purchase, that way I can buy the printing paper and just print it myself, or they can take just a few minutes to print out, instead of going around in circles about me picking up my order the next day…Angie apologized for the miss communication issue and decided to show me a a booklet with the paper and sizes for the printing paper. I selected my paper only to go to the printer, that also had issues of me getting charged twice. I couldn’t find the filler area to fill the paper and instead of Angie coming out to assist me, she told me where it was, where I couldn’t find it. I am not a printing tech for me to open up trays to see where I’m inputting the purchased printing paper. Angie then came out to open some random door that was attached to a clear tape and then walked away, proceeded to tell me “bottom left” drawer with an attitude. I opened multiple trays to find the “bottom left” where the tray was located that had the correct size of the paper. I finally got it to work but then realized the print font was cut off on the top of the paper. I had to go back to Angie to get it properly printed but all of this could have been avoided from the get go if her or the lady in the front could have told me they had resume paper in the back where they can print for me, advised me to send it to an email and they can take care of it. It literally takes 1-2 minutes MAX, that’s exactly what it took to print when Angie printed it after the printer having issues. I literally even told the first lady when I had approached her, the last time I visited another Staples, the team had printing paper and printed something for me on the spot. No idea why she and Angie seemed confused.
I will never visit this Staples ever again for my printing needs as I felt both employees were extremely unprofessional with attitude. Angie mentioned she was “backed up” with work and that she’s short on help, that doesn’t mean you give attitude to incoming customers for tasks that would literally take a few...
Read moreHere we goooooooo!!! So, I had a bit of a delima with not having recipt tape in my store and it is a must have for my business. I decided to pay this Staples on Preston Rd a visit to see if they had any in stock. I found the aisle of what I was in search for, but couldn't find the specific size tape that was looking for. Associate Kam assisted me in my search, but we were unsuccessful in locating what I needed. I picked up a pack of recipt tape that I "thought" would work and proceeded to checkout. I was greeted at checkout by Josiah who had a smile that lit up the store. He asked if I found everything ok and how was my visit at the store. This is something that is hardly ever asked in today's retail world so I was pretty pleased. I informed him that I was unable to find what I was looking for, but I was going to try what I picked out. He told me that if it doesn't work, they will be happy to help me find what I was looking for. An hr later I returned to the store due to my recipt tape selection not working. Josiah promptly issued me a refund and then started figuring out what I needed and how to have it delivered to my business so that I didn't have to make another trip. He had manager Danny and team support Fami assist in the hunt for the right paper for my machines. Danny was able to find the tape, but noticed that it would take time to get to me so, he found recipy tape that the store doesn't use and gave it to me to try. This truly made my day. As a business manager, I needed this today and the team at this Staples made sure I left the store happy. If you are ever in the Frisco area and are in need of products for your business, don't hesitate to come here. If you see any of the people mentioned above, you're going to be well...
Read moreI bought a desk at this location last week, and experienced the worst customer service I’ve ever had at a retail store. Ordered the desk at 4, and it’s advertised online as “1 hour pickup”. So I go to the store a little after 5 to pick it up, and stand at the counter for ten minutes while employees ignored me. When I finally managed to flag someone down, nobody in the store could figure out what the hell was going on. They could not comprehend this online order whatsoever. I’ve worked retail so I understand to an extent, but even after I got frustrated and brought the desk to the checkout, they still couldn’t give me the order. They said it was delayed in their system, which is fine whatever. They tell to wait another hour to pick it up. So I left and came back again at 6 pm, and of course it’s impossible to get any kind of help for 10+ minutes. This time, they pas me off between employees and flag down a lady to help me. They explain the problem to her, and she runs off and acts like she’s gonna solve it for me?? Then comes back and starts stocking shelves at the checkout and completely ignores me??? I was absolutely baffled at the absurdity of this and told the guy at checkout someone needs to help me right now. Essentially, they ring me up and have me pay for the desk again in store. They said my online order would be refunded, and I’m so frustrated I just pay for the desk a second time and leave. Go figure, it’s been a week and the refund hasn’t come. This store is a joke, read the others reviews on here and you’ll see. Y’all need to...
