Tangerine Boutique — Local services in Galveston

I was shopping in The Strand and asked to use the restroom at this boutique. They said sure and let me use it. My husband has a stomach disorder, and needed to get to a bathroom quick. I told him that the boutique had just let me use theirs, and I thought it was really nice of them. He proceeded to ask them and they refused him. He said "my wife just used this restroom" and they said "Nope." So when I walked in their store to ask them if their restroom is public and explained that my husband has a stomach disorder she responded by saying "don't start with us. We'll call the cops" and that they only let me use the restroom because they thought I was going to buy something there. How did they know my husband wasn't coming back to use the bathroom AND get me something from their store? They are extremely rude to...

I was one of the customers in the store when the girls graciously allowed you to use the ladies room, she was in there for 20 min with no husband in sight. This woman's husband came in about five minutes later and asked to use the restroom, there is clearly a "no public restroom" sign on the front door. I was one of six or seven women shopping. Do explain to me how it was so horrible that these sweet women didn't allow a man to come into a women's boutique with a stomach issue so he could make the entire boutique smell aweful? Outstanding customer service!! I found this boutique online while searching for hooked decorative pillows for our vacation property. I ordered two pillows. One had to be ordered from the manufacturer. Kim sent me a handwritten note in the box with the first pillow explaining the situation with her phone number. She kept me up to date during this process. I was delighted when the second pillow arrived as promised! I wish I didn’t live across the country so that I could visit this shop personally.
