Claire's — Local services in Glendale

Honestly I think it should be illegal for Claire’s to be allowed to pierce children’s ears and the reason I say this is because when I was younger (around 6 years old) my mother took me here to get my ears pierced and yes I will agree they were very sweet and nice but after a few hours my ears started to hurt and then bleed and then I ended up in the er with an infection and that was hands down on of the worst pains of my life and later on when I was a bit older (around 11 years old) I really wanted earrings and so I went back and yet again about 2 days afterwards I had developed an infection and had to remove the earrings and get my ears treated. I personally feel that maybe it might not even be fully Claire’s fault because they have no way of sterling the piercing gun beforehand so no I do not recommend them for piercings . Please I must remind that this was my personal experience and to take this into consideration this is not me saying that Claire’s is a bad company or anything I’m just expressing my personal experience and I would ask that you take this into consideration but if you are shopping for toys or little kid things then I highly suggest them as they do have a wide range and selection of toys and...

Bad customer service today from the store clerk or manager. Less than a month ago, my 91 year old mother and me had our ears pierced at Claires. Unfortunately, my mother lost one of her earrings and didn't notice. In a couple days the hole had closed. Took her today to see if they can reopen her piercing. They said if it was less than 30 days they would gladly do it for free, the person who had originally pierced our ears vouched that we had been there less than a month ago, but the manager refused to help and charged us again saying she wasn't gonna lose her job because of us. Walked into the store to ask how much ear piercings are and if I could see the options. Sales associate proceeded to have the worst attitude when I asked her if I could see the options. Her response was “do you not see me cleaning the station. This means you need to make an appointment before you walk in.” Excuse me for asking two questions.
