Iād like to first thank Ryan Walker for helping us with our very new venture! We are a family of four with two special needs kids. Due to Covid and other restrictions we know we wonāt be doing a ton of traveling like we did in the past. We were looking for something recreational to do with our kids and they love water. They had an opportunity to go surfing with an amazing organization of professional surfers (called surfers healing check them out!) so because we couldnāt give them that this year the next best thing we could think of were paddle boards! Clearly I did some research but knew nothing about what we needed. Not only did Ryan help us track down two of the boards we were looking for he helped us find the proper gear for the roof of the car and helped us put it on !!!! (Who does that?) we had our kids with us in the car and he stood outside and helped us mount the Board correctly to our car!!! I love the fact that he was knowledgeable and was not trying to upsell me like REI for the same rack it was about $100.00 less and no instal fee! If thatās not amazing customer service I donāt know what is?!
Also we had to go to the Norttera location to pick up our other paddle board (Iāll write a review that location as well.) the staff was very helpful and kind as well.
To be honest the whole team they had on the floor was very friendly and professional. I have worked management, and customer service for years as well as running my own small businesses and itās so refreshing to see such good customer service Iād like to add this location is in arrowhead mall (I also worked for in this mall for years! Itās not easy customers can be awful)so I can tell you the other side of it. But these people really seem to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI actually like Dicks sporting goods. It's a one stop shop for all your sporting good needs from hiking to running, golfing to football. However, I usually visit the Dicks sporting goods at Norterra. I happen to be running several errands in and around the Arrowhead area after the holidays exchanging incorrect sizes from gifts for our children. I had purchased some items online from Dicks and found that they just weren't the sizes I needed for my children so I brought back to the Arrowhead store location to exchange. They returned the items and gave me a 15% off coupon good for the next 3 hours in the store on all purchases. I repurchased 2 UnderArmor sites for my son in exchange for what I returned and in addition I purchased myself new Nikes, which I do every 3 months since I wear mine down from my excessive actives. I have the coupon at check out and the associate questioned why I had the coupon, which I felt was neither her place to question me nor did it feel customer friendly the way she handled it. A few days later after I was home, I sent to file the receipt with others that I hold onto (until the return time is no longer valid in case of defect on purchases) and I noticed the associate never gave me my 15%off my purchase. I called the store and spoke with Rick. He did apologize and told me just to come back and he would correct it; however, I was leaving town for 3 weeks and it was busy not convenient for me to get back to that location before i left town. I am very disappointed that I just didn't get the discount and was treated right by that associated when I was there to begin with especially since I purchased additional items knowing I was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently purchased the SLK Atlas Pickleball Bundle from Dickās Sporting Goods and was extremely disappointed with the pricing tactics employed by the store. Initially, I was drawn in by the apparent "sale" price of $129.99, thinking I was getting a great deal. However, upon further investigation, I discovered that the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for the bundle was a mere $109.99.
It's evident that Dickās Sporting Goods inflated the original price of the product to $199.99, only to conveniently mark it down to $129.99, creating a false sense of urgency and a misleading perception of a bargain. This kind of deceptive pricing strategy is, quite frankly, unacceptable and unethical.
As a consumer, I expect transparency and honesty from retailers. Dickās Sporting Goodsā decision to engage in such inflated markups and misleading sales tactics has undoubtedly eroded my trust in their pricing practices. It's disheartening to see a company resort to such manipulative methods to drive sales, rather than offering genuine value and fair pricing to its customers. Especially during the holidays.
I urge others to be wary of the pricing strategies employed by Dickās Sporting Goods and to carefully scrutinize any so-called "discounted" items before making a purchase. Businesses should prioritize integrity and respect for their customers, rather than resorting to such underhanded tactics to make a profit. My experience with the SLK Atlas Pickleball Bundle and its pricing has left me deeply disappointed, and I will certainly be exploring alternative retailers that uphold more ethical...
