On Sunday August 13th around 1:30pm I went into Footlocker at Arrowhead Mall 7700 w arrowhead Towne center Glendale, Az 85307 with my parents in law to purchase a pair of shoes. The price of the shoes was around $157.00. When they asked my dad to swipe his card the screen showed the correct amount however afterwards the manager looked perplexed and stated that it had taken $2600.00 instead of $157.00. We were in the mall waiting for over an hour while the manager was on the phone. During which time my father checked his bank account and saw that they had in fact withdrawn $2600 from his account. At the end the manager stated that because the payment was still pending he was as able to stop the payment and that even though it wasnāt reflecting on our bank account he assured us we would see the money returned in 24-48 hours. 48 hours later we noticed the payment was no longer pending but had actually posted and footlocker had received the funds. We called and spoke to the manager again, he said he was going to send an email to the billing department in New York regarding the issue to find a solution. It has been almost a week and we have not received our money back into the bank account nor any communication regarding the matter. At this point we are under the impression that it is Footlockers intention to steal $2600.00 from us and not return it. This is our last attempt at receiving a refund before we contact the authorities to press charges. This has caused us great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe experience in this store. I just don't know where to begin. I can't seem to understand how a manager can speak to his employees in such a way, on the sales floor, in front of customers. When he goes up to them, asking them why they have a certain day off, what's it for. That's none of his business. He just needs to ask them if they have a day off, and that's it. He started arguing with one of the sales reps on the floor right in front of me, about why she needed to go to a concert, and he needed to fill some hours. The next visit I was there, he was yelling at maybe his assistant manager, I'm not too sure. It was regarding a customer escalation, a return, and a pair of shoes that they didn't have in stock. He berated her in front of me, three other employees, and two other customers. As a retail store manager myself, and having 30 years in retail, and as a manager for 20 of those years, I can only guess that he either has been not doing it this long, or he's been doing it too long. I would highly suggest somebody take a look at the manager of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and i came here to purchase shoes for our 4 kids and any parent of multiple children knows it's a long tiring process. There's a lot of trying on, putting back and indecisiveness but I've got to give the award to Devin. He was patient, nice and quick with checking the back for the sizes we needed. He's the OOONNNLLLYYY reason i gave 5 stars instead of 4 because they didn't have anything we wanted in a size 7.5 but apparently that's a size not many stores carry because we had no luck next door a Champs either. I don't understand that because people come in all shapes and sizes. Anyway I'd definitely recommend this Foot Locker (House of Hoops) location for their great customer service and varieties of new arrivals. We appreciated your service Devin! #employeeofthemonth...
