We’ve had a wonderful experience with Childtime so far, and I wanted to share a few things that have made it so special for our family.
Although our son Felix has only been there for a little over a month, it already feels like home. The staff knows him by name, greeting him warmly each morning and making sure to say goodbye when he leaves. That kind of personal attention has meant so much to us during this transition.
Coming from a beloved at-home daycare, we were a little nervous about the change, but the team at Childtime has made it as smooth as possible. They’ve been encouraging and supportive, especially as we continue working on potty training. We decided that we wanted a preschool with more structure to help prepare Felix for what’s ahead, and it’s clear we made the right choice, even if it was a little overwhelming for him at first.
Now, he’s excited to go to school, see his friends, and learn from his teachers. The SproutAbout app is another great part of the experience. We love being able to check in on his day and see what he’s up to.
He’s had so many fun and enriching experiences already: a kid-friendly concert, a magician, a visit from a librarian, and of course, his favorite, Water Day! He enjoys healthy meals, takes naps or quiet time when needed, and always seems happy and engaged.
Most importantly, we feel completely safe leaving him in the hands of Childtime’s capable and caring staff. They communicate openly and are quick to reach out if there’s anything we need to know.
The facility itself is clean, well equipped, and full of things to explore, but what matters most to us is that Felix is growing, thriving, and surrounded by people who care.
We’re so glad we...
Read moreWe recently toured the daycare and were very much interested in enrolling our 3 1/2 year old, it was going to be a perfect fit! Once we mentioned our child had a speech delay we felt the tone of the director changed. I no longer felt optimistic about our experience. The tone changed a bit more when I mentioned we seen an ad for free enrollment during that time after she tried to charge us an enrollment fee. They also mentioned our child needed to do a “trial day” to see if he could be accommodated for his speech delay which I thought was odd. So basically we were told our son could only go there if he could communicate I guess? Definitely sounded like discrimination in my opinion as well as disheartening to be told this as parents. We’ve visited daycares before and never has this been an issue when mentioned. So now we’re jumping through hoops getting paperwork done by our Dr so our son can possibly or possibly NOT attend and my fiancé calls to question why our Dr needs to fill out the paperwork for his speech delay because we independently noticed his delay and sought help with a speech therapist…so maybe his therapist should fill it out? That’s when they told him “oh your spot has been filled”!!! My mama heart tells me they didn’t want to have to deal with a speech delay. Which was one of our main reasons taking our son to daycare. We felt the social interaction with children his age would benefit him positively with talking. Plus, they probably preferred the enrollment fee from someone that was unaware of the promotion I...
Read moreOur son had attended since 3 months and is now graduating out at 4 years. It's bittersweet because we'll miss the staff, environment and honestly accommodating schedule so much. It's unnerving leaving your baby elsewhere but Childtime made us know he was safe, loved and would always have his needs met.
I love that they have multiple classrooms that cater to each age progression. That way all the activities, toys, etc are fitting to their cognitive abilities at that time. They match teachers skillets to those age groups too. They also have open, almost café style, rooms so all the rooms are viewable when you walk through the hall (not changing rooms or bathrooms for discretion) but I love that you can see at any time, and I've done drop offs at different times of the day, that each class is being taught, children are being comforted if needed and the teachers are being attentive and interactive. I have always felt safe and that our son isn't just safe but loved and thriving.
I also love how they have three fenced in play areas that are secure and fitted to she group. I'd encourage anyone to contact for a tour.
Also Ashley, the Director is friendly, works with families and communicates well by phone and through their app. Speaking of, I love their app as well! You get consistent updates as to activities your child is participating in, pictures which warm my heart during the work day and tracking of what and how much they eat and when restrooms are utilized so you know all is normal with your...
