So many reasons for this one star rating. Terrible customer service. They act like you are bothering them. The flooring department has one person that knows their job and its not Veda; the flooring department manager. Rude as hell, knows the delivery guys that they hire steal from orders but accuses the customer of lying. She seriously caught an attitude with me because I refused to accept that the delivery person had delivered all of my order. I paid too much for them to try to steal my order and make me buy more. She wouldn’t accept the truth until I provided dated pictures of the order. Before my order even arrived at my house it sat in their wear house well past the delivery date. It was supposed to sit in my house for 24 hours to acclimate. No one called so that pushed my install date. I had just bought this house and had to move out of my rental very soon. Then their delivery guys try to steal my order! Wth!? The guy that came out to measure my floor screwed up the first time and had to come back. I dont think he ever did this job before. The ppl they hire to do installs are completely unqualified but that wont stop Veda from defending them. I have overly visible cracks in my floor and parts of baseboards that were just left undone and yet again I’m called a liar until I provided pictures. Then she says Ill have to pay more for them to come and fix THEIR f up. I gave up. $18000 for this!?!! During the install the contractors they hired were extremely rude. They threw cigarettes and trash all over my yard and were on “a break” every time I showed up to check on the install progress. (I only stopped in once a day at different times). They constantly asked if I was sure I wanted the flooring in the living room because there was already flooring of a similar color in there. I literally had to dump paint on the floor so they wouldn't skip it to be done faster. They had never done a job like mine And clearly didn’t want to but they took it on anyway. In the end they left my house FULL of saw dust even though I asked the lead contractor if they would be cleaning up the dust and he said “oh yea we’ll take care of that don’t worry, its going to look like a magazine cover in here”. I ended up with acute sinusitis and had to be rushed to the hospital. The workers said they couldn’t clean because they didn’t have a broom. Everyone knows that you use a vacuum for that kind of dust. They should know that. Either way they didnt have the tools. I have no clue how this store has more than one star. Should have gone to Lowes. Greenwood Village Home Depot, fix yourself. Im a business owner and customer service is everything. Do better....
Read moreWorse experience of my life. I purchased a dishwasher from them set up the delivery. First of all, I'm told the delivery time is from 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm, and that they will call 30 mins prior to coming over. They never called, just showed up. Then when I mentioned that they were suppose to call and that it was a good thing I was home, the guy came in, started slamming my kitchen cupboards and left to the truck. He came back and said that he cannot install my dishwasher because of the hose. I told him that I paid for the hose, he said I need the extended hose.....funny, they don't kept that in stock in his truck. Trying to get my refund was a worse fiasco. I finally got it today....I had to go down too the exact store I bought three appliance from. The cashier, Robert, a really nice guy said he could not do the refund....I told him that I need to talk to someone that can. Along come Michelle that cannot do the refund, but she is the only one available to talk to me....WOW, after me going off in there and getting her attitude because I am angry and going off at her, the Manager, I think Jeff, I'M not sure because he could not even introduce himself to me or ask ne anything about what hapoened. He totally had a I COULD CARE LESS ATTITUDE. Then when I told him, "we world not be going thru this process if it wasn't for the installer slamming my kitchen cabinets and not having the correct hose, and trying to get ahold of Jennifer in the escaltion dept and constantly trying to return her call without her calling me back!", He said, not that, the Jennifer thing, is on us. I'm sorry for that. So, that to me means he is sorry about Jennifer not returning my call, not that the installation guy wad wrong or ill prepared to install my dish washer. AMAZING! I was going to purchase a stove there too, now.....I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING AT HOME DEPOT...
Read moreI am never coming to this Home Depot location again. Their customer service is terrible, especially Rudolf in the paint department today. I needed an extra gallon of some paint that I bought from the nice people at Home Depot Lakewood. He said the color I needed “black” was not available for that base. I showed him a picture of the other can’s label and he went on and on about how terrible it was that there were some spots of paint on it and he couldn’t read it all. I could read it and pointed out as politely as possible that the sticker he printed out was for a different base that did not match the 6230 on the can I was trying to buy or the very clear 6230 in the picture. He printed it for a 6300 base then literally yelled at me that it should be the same. After about 20 minutes I finally got him to put it into the system correctly and print the correct label for the correct base for black paint to be mixed. That took less than 2 minutes in Lakewood and over 20 in Greenwood Village.
I don’t care if Boomers are challenged by technology that doesn’t give them any right to literally repeatedly yell at customers. He never apologized after fixing his mistake I politely pointed out several times or said anything remotely pleasant. He was extremely rude the minute I asked him for help.
We had an issue at Christmas time with customer service too waiting nearly an hour to get help with a tree when it wasn’t busy just being told that “someone should be there” when we found other employees but no one actually helped or figured out why the garden section person was not there.
If it can’t be bought online, it’s worth being treated like a person and driving somewhere else besides...
