I’ve never been to, or seen, a Persian restaurant in my life. After this visit, I wish there were more. You enter a classy establishment that has a modern touch but also has some traditional (I assuming) Persian art/decor. My server was helpful and professional; noting it was first time there he offered a bowl of soup to get things started. With it he brought two lemons...still not sure if I needed to put that in the soup. But either way it was well seasoned but nothing to write home about. The stars of my meal were the Tah-Dig and the Shirazi salad. The Tah-Dig has two different stews, Ghormeh Sabzi and Gheimeh Cibzamini, over a bed of rice that’s crisp on the bottom. Definitely a nice play on textures...but the stews shined. Both were well seasoned but the Sabzi was more savory while the Cibzamini has a slight tartness to it from the dried lemon. Together they complemented one another. Shirazi salad was definitely something that could bust through a heavy meal; the onion, tomato, and cucumber were elevated with the lemon juice and olive. These two appetizers alone made a meal. I also ordered the Mirza Ghasemi...a kind of eggplant dip that you eat with lavash bread. I enjoyed the flavors but I’m not sure the texture was right for me. Think meaty eggplant blended with tomatoes that meets garlic and spices. Overall this was a great choice and I would definitely come again to try something new or get the same thing again.

Went to celebrate my friends’ birthday and graduation. We were brushed off because we had no reservation and told it’ll be a while before we’re served. There were only 3 groups in the restaurant. We had tried to call countless times for a reservation that day but no answer. We were then served our food an hour after arriving and about 30 mins before they’re supposed to close. We immediately notice the chicken was completely raw, pink, uncooked on the inside, and it was served on the same platter of the other meats we ordered. The waiter’s reaction was to deny what we are saying to our face without checking it and without any remorse. He never even came back to take to off our plate saying everyone who works in the kitchen already left and he’s not allowed to touch it lol. We were told we should’ve specified we wanted the chicken cooked and to get a reservation next time so our food is priority 🤣. If you can’t accommodate customers then don’t let them in. And if your restaurant is by reservation only then state that on your website. He laughably said that hopefully next time everything will be cooked and will go smoothly. There definitely will never be a next time. And to top it off, they still charged us for all the other food on the same contaminated raw chicken plate and included mandatory gratuity. Unbelievable. Single worst restaurant customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Loved this place! I’m sad we’ve lived in Denver for over three years and just found them. The restaurant itself does not stand out in the small strip center it’s located in, but once inside that completely changes. The decor and ambiance is lovely. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. We were the only party there for about 15 minutes, and the restaurant was fairly busy by the time we left. His service and attention never changed. Now onto the food. DELICIOUS. I ordered the Soltani Chicken with Zereshk polo. Huge portions and everything was cooked perfectly. I had also never had barberries. They were an excellent addition to saffron rice. My husband got the Surena Kabob, and oh my goodness was that wonderful. Their lamb might be the best I’ve ever tried. I wanted to try their ice cream for dessert because I can’t eat wheat, but they didn’t have it that day. Our server offered us hot tea instead and that was lovely. My husband also tried their Zoolbia & Bamieh. It was very rich and soaked with honey, went well with tea, but it’s very sweet. Overall a nice dining experience with yummy food you don’t find often in Denver. Highly recommend!

We're from Los Angeles, where there is a large Persian community, and an abundance of quality Persian food. This is a very nice Persian restaurant with very good food. They don't serve the raw onion, radishes and herbs before the meal, as they often do in Los Angeles. However, I would guess that it would be a waste, unless you are Persian, and accustomed to that. I had the koobideh combination with one skewer of beef, and one of chicken. The meat was ground more finely than normal, and the flavor was a little different, but both were very good. I also had the zereshk polo rice, which is basmati rice with some saffron, red currants, and a sprinkling of slivered almonds. Very good, great contrast of textures. Highly recommended for a $2 up charge. My wife and our friend had the chicken thigh kabob with veggies substituted for rice. This was very good, and generous enough that they both took leftovers home. My wife said that the veggies were done perfectly to her taste. Our other friend had the chicken barg, and was pleased with his choice. Prices were medium. I think all of our entrees ran about $18. Lamb runs higher, as do some dishes like the soltani, shish kabob, etc. This seems to be a cuisine that is still rather seldom found in Colorado, so this is a pretty good representation. Service was good, and it is a very nicely decorated restaurant, bright, clean,...
