This was my first time eating anything from Chic fil A. I wanted to love it but that is not what happened. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich meal but with a milkshake and not the soft drink. I think I was charged for not only the full meal but also a milkshake, but I didn't get a soft drink. I asked what was on the sandwich and was told lettuce, tomato, cheese and pickles. I opted for no pickles. I asked if the cheese was melted or just a cold piece of cheese slapped on the sandwich as it was assembled and was told it was a cold piece of cheese. I asked if the sandwich was dry and was told yes but I could add mayonnaise or their sauce or ketchup. I asked for mayonnaise and their sauce, thinking it would be like a fry sauce. The food was very quickly prepared and I was on my way. I found an empty parking space and decided to eat my food immediately. My sandwich was dry but they had included packets of mayonnaise and their own sauce. There were no napkins or utensils included. I ended up using a waffle fry, not regular french fries, to smear the mayonnaise and sauce on one bun only. They use leaf lettuce, not shredded, but put 4 or 5 lettuce leaves on my sandwich. Everything slid off the bun and ended up in my lap several times while I was trying to eat. It was hard to tell if the party was a seasoned patty or not due to the over powering smoky bbq flavor of their own sauce, which I did not like. About half way through, the entire bun completely and totally fell apart and it all ended up in my lap. At that point, I threw out the remainder of my meal. Overall, I think that Chick fila A's chicken sandwich tasted just like the awful chicken sandwich that Burger King sells but cost me more money. That was my first and my last experience eating anything...

Context: Been here three times, grew up going to Chic Fil A, have deer friends that are major contributors to Chic Fil A culture and organization all throughout the US. Experience: Employees are always talking to each other, eating food at the drive up window, get orders incorrect, don’t pack what is on the very sticker they place on our bags, and never get even a “Thank You”. After this third VERY NEGATIVE (in comparison to Chic Fil As that I’ve been to from California to Indiana to Oregon) at the Gresham location, I won’t be coming back and will not be suggesting to anyone to purchase anything from here. I have lost money, personally, from them not packing items that were supposed to be in my order. I have wasted gas and time driving back to get what was supposed to be in/on our order because of their mistakes. Results: I’m tired of these negative experiences and won’t be supporting this location because of the amount of wasted time/money/heartache. I’m so disappointed in the management and the “team leads” that are letting this location be something that Chic Fil A is NOT. These problems we have been experiencing are not the employees’ fault, but management’s. My Heart: Management, please hear me, we’re on the same team; I want you guys/gals to win and for this location to be at least “alright”. I’ll gladly accept any recuperation from management to right the wrongs and I am open to a response from management (yes I understand COVID-19 is causing problems with staffing, etc.), but I will not be risking my time/money/gas/life on a Chic Fil A location that cannot at least teach their employees put fries in a bag or make a drink for...
Read moreThis location just opened up by my work, so after a long day my coworkers and I decided to get dinner.. this was my first time ever at a chick-fil-a and I was so stoked!! and meh. Wasn’t the best experience. Wasn’t awful… But wasn’t great. I told the lady (excitedly) it was my first time ever eating at a chick-fil-a and asked if she had any recommendations and she just shrugged her shoulders said she really doesn’t know. And it just seemed like she hated life (which is valid) but at least pretend like you don’t hate your job..so after that 5-10 min go by, we get 2/3 orders; they forgot the third order which was a sandwich (we still had our ticket in the windshield for that order sooo how they forgot I have no clue) and one of the drinks was incorrect- sweet tea was ordered and 3 of us tasted it and it was unsweetened. Politely told the worker and they said “ok do you want us to replace it?” Just looking at us like we did something wrong… they ask us to pull forward and park (by this time at least 15 min has gone by) so we park within minutes they come out with our missing sandwich and the sweet tea.. before handing us the sandwich he asks “so do you want your missing sandwich?” Like what? Obviously… then we try the tea again and it is again unsweetened- which leads me to believe that the opener didn’t make the tea right. Because whatever you have labeled as “sweet” definitely is unsweetened. By this time we were all over it and left.. I honestly don’t know what all the hype is about- the food was meh 2/5 stars, staff 0/5, drive thru 0/5, speed 0/5. I could go without it tho… perhaps I’ll try again but at clackamas; I hear great things about...
