Sakura Express — Restaurant in Gresham

We ordered dinner through Door Dash from them last night and I wanted to leave a review to help others find this gem. While I obviously can't speak to atmosphere since this was delivery, I can say that the food was outstanding! I had the pork teriyaki which was well cooked and the portion size was quite good for the price. My husband got the beef yakisoba and he just raved about it (after he picked all the broccoli out of it) and said that this is the best yakisoba he's ever had. The portion size on the yakisoba was huge, a great value for the price. Someone with a normal appetite could easily get 2 meals out of the one order so when my husband who has a gargantuan appetite had some left over I was shocked. We'll definitely be ordering from them again and hope to get the chance to visit in person next time. We need to support these small mom and pop places over the chain teriyaki places (you know who I'm talking about) as much as we can so they stay...

Don’t order the sushi here. 24 hours later and I’m still suffering. Taste was ok (but way too spicy on the tuna roll and that’s coming from somebody that really likes heat) but it was overpriced, $50 for (3) rolls is unreasonable. Service was… I didn’t feel welcome. The gentleman was respectful but I felt unwelcome and my kiddo felt the same. It was heavily implied that I should get my order to go rather than eat there (they asked “are you sure you want to eat here” 3x, so seems like more of a delivery establishment especially judging from the 3 delivery drivers that were the only other folks in there. There is a conveyer belt sushi place down the street has much better quality, atmosphere, and value. First off this is one of my favorite places in Gresham, I placed an online order on Sunday. the hours show they are open everyday until 9pm... I placed the order through clover online like I normally do and when I arrived to pick up my food the place was closed.... I showed up the next day (on Monday 1/13/25) to try and get my food order I placed on Sunday 1/12/25 and again they were closed... I don't know if this place is shutting down, going out of business but the hours are showing they are open and allowing these online orders to go through but here i am on day 3 without my food or a way to contact someone to get a refund. the store is not open nor is clover who I ordered through allowing me to call them. only merchants can call the customer service number... who can contact me so I can receive my refund with food i ordered at a place that is no longer open for...
