Hang the Moon — Local services in Groton

A wonderful store to visit and shop at. My wife picked up a fantastic clock for me. I bought a gift bag of goodies for my wife recently and picked up a few bottles of sanitizer from Hang the Moon (great blend of sanitizer and essential oils!)

There is so much great stuff to browse through for gift shopping. Possibilities are endless. During the pandemic I am choosing carefully where I shop as I will only enter stores where masks are mandatory.

The owners are taking care of their customers, their staff and doing their bit to keep Mystic open. After months of everything being closed locally it’s great to see our small businesses open again and I hope it stays that way with everyone doing their bit to help.

CHILDREN UNDER 2 NOT ALLOWED IN STORE! This stores “no mask, no entry... no matter what age” policy is insane. My husband and I visited this store last year and loved it. We were excited to visit it again with our baby who is 4 months and were not allowed in the store as a family. Waiting outside during November with an infant while the other person shops was NOT an option so they lost our business. Not only that, but another family with a baby tried entering after us and were also disgusted and shocked by this “policy” and left, as well. During a time when supporting small business is of importance, they are turning patronage away. Sad. Please do not spend time responding to my review. There are already plenty of similar reviews/responses others...

My girlfriend and I stopped by to look at all the neat items and clothes. We both thought it was so neat and wanted to see what was there in the store until a conversation amongst the employees at the cash register started referenceing males in a very negative and rude aspect. I'm all for people having their opinion, but to speak about males in such a negative manner while you have males in your store and shopping, just isn't very professional at all and definitely is disrespectful. I would not recommend any males to spend their money here for whatever reason. I will not be returning! I hope the owner will...
