Martin's Pharmacy — Local services in Hagerstown

I went into the Martins on Wesel Blvd shortly after Christmas and I used the bathroom. It was a disgusting experience. There were clothes left in the stall and they were contaminated by feces.

I complained to the staff and they informed me that the bathrooms were not kept clean due to the lack of a staff person whose duties centered on keeping the bathrooms clean.

Because it was in the evening, there was no manager on duty. The staff member in charge seemed to be of the opinion that it wasn't their job to keep the bathrooms clean.

I should have reported the situation to Washington County's Department of Public Health. However, I decided to wait until a second incident. If I see that this store has a chronic sanitary problem, I will report the store to local health officials.

Martins has a public health responsibility and they should be ashamed of their failures in this...

Just needed to give a big thank you to the store manager (working Tuesday June 20th afternoon at the mall Martins). I didn't have time to let him know how wonderful and attentive he was when my friend experienced an episode at the store. A wonderful uoung lady called him and he stayed with my friend held her hand and calmed her down while I checked her groceries out.they got her a drink, and a cool compress. The last two times I've gotten a RX here, it was a problem. The first time they didn't have it and had to order for the next day. Was told it would be ready at 2pm.
