My brother, his partner and I went for dinner tonight. We realized understaffed and have no problem with that. The bartender spent most time chit chatting with two customers at the end of the bar near the kitchen. I say this because her name was not caught (MAYBE Britney) but was between 5:45 and 6:00 on Friday (tonight). Had to work really hard to get her attention at the other end of the bar. Forget about paying the bill, she never came back after presenting the bill. We went outside to sit and eat about 5 minutes later but could have easily walked away at that point. Did I mention understaffed and have no problem with this. After a few minutes Trisha came over and was wonderful! She apologized for the wait due to staffing issues snd the only two wait staff unsure which table to work. Again, all polite and no problem. All three of us ordered Surf & Turf, Filet cooked medium rare. My came well done and I sent back. The exact same steak (I had cut before) came back even more well done but now with cold asparagus and cold shrimp. As I got up to return yet again, Trisha met me as she had just asked the cook how medium well could go to rare in a minutes in the grill. Physics do not allow. New steak with new hot shrimp and asparagus arrived soon, all were cooked perfectly. About 10 minutes later the manager (Angela?) came out. She was as wonderful as Trisha! Mistakes happen, busy words are misheard and life goes on. Angela offered snd took half off my meal due to it taking three times to get right. This was not requested but very much appreciated. I have been here before and have always enjoyed, I will be back. Food is excellent, it was just some miscommunication. My brother and partner had never been before and will still come back. Love the food, chef, manager and wait staff except the bartender Friday between 5:45 and 6:25. She was the worst seen! All she did was take care of her few friends at one end of the bad, the rest of us were ignored...
Read moreThe food was excellent. We had a party of 28, definitely should of had more than 1 server. There was a guy who ran the food up as it was ready. The server was blonde with a snappy attitude from when we walked in. She never asked did we want individual checks or a group check. When you asked her a question, do we receive a military discount her response was "no not with parties. I didn't have to break the check up to begin with" when she was asked whether she could start taking orders, seeing we all had to get back to base, she said "she placed the orders and didn't have control over the cooks", she was more concerned about getting everyone drinks than food. The young man genuinely was running around getting extra sauces, flatware, to go boxes. She was asked is everything ok, are you alright and she snapped her head & said "I'm fine!" She was asked did we give her our payments or did we pay downstairs and she said "I'm trying to get them checks to you" all questions were asked politely and usually with a ma'am. Her final move was she brought all the cards & receipts up tossed them on a side table and said "I put your cards on the table you'll have to look for yours w/two pens!!" What in the world!!! I have worked in thw hospitality field for years and this was the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen. As much as the party enjoyed the food, I know that there was steady chatter about her behavior. I know for a fact that many of us come there regularly and will definitely think twice before coming again. Yes, she got the group tip overall from each ticket but trust me if she had acted an ounce more like she cared about her guests, she would if received double what she got if not more. Shame on her!! Something needs to be done about her. I'm so sure no one is forcing her to work in a career that she clearly doesn't...
Read moreToday was my first time visiting Pour Girls. I called in a To-Go order while parked in my car. I ordered a Cuban sandwich. They mentioned the total was 19 something. I checked the menu online to verify the price. Upon arriving to the restaurant 5 mins later. I asked if they charged a to go fee to the bartender (Bobbi S.). She said yes. I asked if I could just eat there and have the to go order fee taking off. She said no they already started to use the Togo materials. I inquired on why it isn’t mentioned as a courtesy on the phone when placing a order. She responded that it is not required for them to tell the customer. To me, she was coming off quite rude. She said on the menu the Togo order cost is stated. I mentioned I did not look at the menu when placing my first order at the establishment. She responded with how do I supposed to know it was your first time ordering over the phone. I told her she was coming off rude. She seem annoyed from the start. I asked if I could cancel the order because I was unhappy with the service she was providing. She threatened to call the police if I left the establishment without me even receiving my order. I asked to speak to the owner to explain the interaction with the bartender. The owner was very polite and she removed the Togo order fee and I ate at the restaurant. The food was really good and deserves a 5 star. I normally don’t leave reviews like this but threatening to call the police when the service was unsatisfactory is a big No No. I would not recommend this place based on the bartender actions. Again, the owner seems like a great person and the food is great. I just think it is highly unacceptable to threaten a customer with calling the police when wanting to cancel a order due to...
