Maui Divers Jewelry - Queens' Marketplace — Local services in Hawaii

We came in to have a simple repair completed on a chain that was purchased from a Maui Diver located in Oahu less than a week earlier. We had to wait for approximately 20-25+ minutes for the sales person to finish with a family getting 4 fresh oyster pearls. Another associate/manager entered the store and was instructed by the other associate still assisting the family. We explained our situation with the chain and was told told the chain would need to be repaired and mailed to us at a later date. We were told we had to pay for the shipping. We asked why we had to pay for the shipping when it was clear that the chain wasn't damaged by anything of our doing (only wore o e time). What made things worse was the fact they didn't charge the Asian family for their 4 oyster 'pick a pearl' charges, because they had to wait for about 30 minutes. Yet, when we too had to wait and we brought in a jewelry item that was already purchased for a repair.... we had to pay for the shipping of the returned item... They had the same chain in the store, but wouldn't/couldn't exchange it. The associate/manager didn't help the situation either. She showed absolutely no care.or empathy with our situation, didn't offer any options for us, yet stood in front of us and approved 'no charge' to the family who received 4 fresh oyster pearls.... It seemed they really didn't care to assist us.... My wife and have traveled almost every Hawaii island, absolutely not.a fan...

I first encountered Maui Divers while on vacation in Hawaii and visited the Honolulu factory location. We were given a warm welcome, shown a very interesting film about the black coral reefs and harvesting the coral. Then we visited the store, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I found some exquisite pieces, my friend got two pearls from the oyster tank and had them put in a pendant setting which the staff made right then. When I returned home I continued to shop online from Maui Divers and have always been so pleased with my purchases, the packaging is very good, the pieces are beautiful and the prices are very competitive. There is online assistance if needed and response time to any questions has been prompt. I recently wished to purchase some pieces which were no longer on the website, LynnMarie located the pieces for me, helped me choose some chains to compliment the pendants and placed the order for me. I can’t say enough about what a pleasure it is to view and purchase their unique jewelry both for myself and as special gifts for special friends. From the moment we walked in Maui Divers, Cora greeted us & welcomed us in. Robin knew what she was after, a Hawaiian Heirloom Bracelet. Once I saw hers, I had to have one! Cora was patient assisting 5 of us ladies as everyone fell in love with the Collections at Maui Divers. We made our purchases and then had so much fun choosing & blessing an Oyster to find our lucky pearl, some of us even got two in one oyster! Cora explained the differences in color and then showed us the case where we could pick a setting for our new found pearl. I chose these beautiful Pua drop earrings which I love!

After arriving home from vacation I still had the hinged bangle bracelet on my mind. I called Maui Divers and Cora knew our party right away!
