Spencer's — Local services in Heath

Purchased On 07/09/19: My shopping trip had ONE goal, ONE (different, not Spencer’s) store planned. I haven’t shopped Spencer’s for YEARS. As I passed Spencer’s, I thought, why not gander since I had some “old fart” birthdays coming up. I spent $42, of which include a $10 mug. Excited for my morning LARGE coffee, as I began sipping, I notice the mug handle had been broken and glued. WHAT?! It was broken and glued?! Great! When will the handle break again and I wear hot coffee?! The mug was not even on a clearance shelf! I cannot believe I didn’t take a closer look before buying. Albeit, why should I need to check a NEW full Priced mug amongst same merchandise for purchase. Is this even legal? IDK. Because I don’t want to deal with the hassle, am not and will not attempt to return it. Rather, I tried letting Spencer’s customer service know my displeasure of their shady business practices (they are responsible for their employees actions). Needless to say, they don’t care! I cant pass this place up when I visit the mall. They have everything you could imagine for a gag gifts. Lots of humorous all occasion greeting cards. Great selections of novelty tee shirts you can't find anyplace else. Just a kool fun place to shop....
