So normally...during the day...I have recieved helpful and courteous service. But lately in the evenings that has changed. Rapidly declined if you will. I dont mind a wait if the items ordered are correct...hot or cold and done right and with care. But to wait in line and be handed food thrown together as if in a race is inexcusable. Im not sure what kind of training is done but if management doesnt care then employees wont care. It is starting to show. Im all for understanding a bad night...short of help...out of supplies...issues with customers. But when these poor work habits show consistently...there is a problem. It could be as simple as while the cat's away kind of thinking. And Im not blaming every employee. But the evenings staff seems to think it is more important to be on their phones than paying attention to what they hand out the windows. Especially if the order is correct or the food handled sloppily. Our breaking point came tonight. After a nice day...shopping...dinner...my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to milkshakes at Sonics. We get them because they are good...and made well and made right. Again on the evenings we have noticed issues with that. In that it is the complete opposite. My husband ordered two strawberry shortcake milkshakes. Not that difficult. When the non-speaking teenager opened the window to hand them to him...apparently she didnt recignize that the outsides of both styrofoam containers had product all over them...were slippery and then transferred to my husband...his steering wheel and cup holders. Not one word from the employee was said until my husband grabbed a cup and asked what was all over it. The employee made a snarky comment about issues with the whipped cream dispenser. Then laughed. So apparently she was aware of the sloppy product before handing it out the window to a customer. Not caring and not willing to take the extra 20 seconds to wipe it off. Not sure what kind of training that comes from. The employee did not offer any napkins...wet towels...and especially an apology. Actually she seemed more upset that my husband was upset about being handed such a mess. This is what happens when no supervision or consequences happen...and we have both worked in the food industry. Then to really add to it...because there was product still all over...once we got home the styrofoam cup slipped out of his hand and exploded on the ground. Neat right? Having a little respect for the customer and the establishment they are working for goes a long way. The more important thing to this group tonight was their phones and not the customer. Whomever is in charge of this Sonics needs to either go through training again or find someone that hires kids with a good work ethic and not just a place to be on their phones and earning a paycheck. This shouldnt have happened. And please dont give me the same robot excuse that I see above because this complaint is going higher. Ten bucks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy friend and I to the sonic in Heath today and the service was absolutely horrible such rude staff members. Spoke to us with so much attitude and disrespect when we were nothing but polite to them with good manners. then when we looked at our food bag we realized we didn't get any of the sauces that we asked for which was three ranches and a cheese dip pretty straightforward. Then we go back and ask them for the sauces that we didn't get, We asked for again three ranch and a cheese dip then a guy brown hair brings out a bag of sauces and we said thank you so much and have a great day Little did we know they gave us a bag of marinara and ketchup we did not ask for either of those they did that on purpose and thought it was funny because we heard and saw them laugh as she was walking back in the door. then as another girl, dark drown or black hair was bringing food out to another person after she was done we politely called them over and asked KINDLY if we could get our sauces again and she smiled rolled her eyes continued to be so blatantly rude and said sure and then looked at her friend who was on break outside blonde hair girl and said I'm so done with this job and other rude things that we couldn't make out but we knew they were talking about us cause they kept looking and pointing and rolling their eyes even though they were the ones who didn't give us what we asked for. when the girl brought our dipping sauces out finally it was only a cheese dip and one ranch when we specifically asked for three over and over again and we said thank you anyways and she did not say anything back but rolled her eyes again so we just left because we didn't want to deal with the continuous disrespect. Every staff member we encountered was extremely rude...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to this sonic yesterday and had a horrible experience. My friends and I ordered three of the same milkshake. I read the name of the milkshake word for word off the menu. We were all delivered the wrong milkshakes. When I kindly told them that this is not what we asked for, instead of just remaking them and giving us the right kind, we had to give them back to the worker, (I'm pretty sure they she was planning on taking the milkshakes back into the kitchen and just mixing in our missing ingredient and handing them back to us, which is NOT correct food service) and THEN were told "there is a huge price difference between what you ordered and what you are asking for, so we will need to reimburse you and recharge you for the new milkshakes." What I ordered IS what I'm asking for!! I didn't change my order, THEY got it wrong after I read it word for word. Plus, the total of what I ordered and the total of what I was given (had I ordered that) was only different by a little over a DOLLAR. Was that really necessary over a single dollar?!?! That doesn't seem like a "huge" difference to me. As someone who works in food service, this is NEVER how I would approach a situation like this. So, I had to pay all over again, AND it ended up being $2 more expensive than what it should have been. I was just wanted my milkshakes so I ignored that part and moved on. Overall, just a really frustrating experience, not to mention, we were in a time crunch so it was stressful to say the least. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the milkshakes (once we got the right ones) were...
