Gretchen's Hallmark — Local services in Henderson

If I could leave less stars, I would! We ordered the Green Ceramic Nostalgic Light-Up Christmas Tree and had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with Hallmark. I ordered this online and they dispatched it through Amy’s Hallmark in Henderson, NV. They sent the tree haphazardly wrapped in plastic wrap in an oversize box. No storage box, no use and care guides, nothing but a damaged item wrapped in some plastic wrap. This was clearly a floor model or a return. This location obviously couldn’t care less about the integrity of Hallmark and their products. Please note that this item is supposed to be packaged in its own Hallmark box. Not only was it simply wrapped in plastic wrap, but one of the bulbs was missing. I called customer service and they agreed to immediately send me a replacement overnight and told me that I would be notified via email with updated shipping information and tracking. A week later I called to find out that the customer services rep never submitted the replacement item and the they were currently out online. Now I have to go through the hassle of repackaging this piece of junk and delivering it to a FedEx location because Hallmark screwed up TWICE! It's a huge waste of my time and expenses simply because I patronized an establishment by attempting to support them. I popped in to purchase a Mother’s Day gift about 1030am, store had a couple customers, workers asking if they can help with anything.. I find what I’m looking for myself because that’s the best way to gift shop.. bring my items to the register and when I hand over my paper money there was no issue with the clerk.. her register opens, and she is confused on why she has no change in her register… She leaves the register wide open, says excuse me, so she can go to the back and ask some questions to her coworkers.. just for these two ladies to come out and tell me they don’t have change….WHY IS THE STORE OPEN WITH NO MONEY TO GIVE CHANGE??????????????? Over the past couple of weeks I’ve wanted to go to this Hallmark store twice on different days with the intention of spending money but both times it was closed. The first was around 8:15 PM but it closed at 8:00 PM. The second time was on a Sunday around 6:10 PM but it closed at 5:00 PM. Maybe the owner doesn’t need more business and likes the early close hours, but I would think that at least during the Christmas season they would extend their hours.
