I visit the 509 Stephanie Street in Henderson NV 89014 location almost 4 times a week. I must say today's service was very poor and rude of the male employee. I got my usual order of nachos but I was also adding on a Nino quesadilla and beef enchilada. When I started to order the same older Caucasian male with glasses who always works the first section where the tortillas and meats/beans are asked what I would like. I ordered my enchilada Ala carte. Before I even walked into the restaurant I had started to look up the enchilada on the website. Just to make sure I order it correctly. So when I said can I get a Ala carte enchilada this male employee just said what kind of meat. I told him. That's when he grabbed a Tortilla and started to make it. I immediately said is that a flour Tortilla and with an attitude he says "No" You didn't ask me for flour. I said well I didn't know to ask you. Usually when I order they specify which Tortilla. That's when he looks at me with a dirty look and says "When you come in next time make sure you say you want flour tortillas first!" Remind you the line is packed around me. So he's confronting me in front of other customers. So I said forget it just leave it the way it is. He ignores me and throws it in the trash. I then said did you not hear me say just leave it? He then says "Yeah I heard you" He proceeds to get a flour tortilla and make it over. So now after this confrontation in front of other customers I was about to walk out. But I said I was also ordering food for someone else. So I just stayed. That's when he makes my nachos and then in a sarcastic tone says "Thanks for coming in today!" I just ignore him. The people in front of me were waiting to be served with toppings. So we just kind of stood there. That is when this same male proceeds to talk over my food, lean in to make others food and his shirt gets close to my food. So I asked him if he could slide my food down and he ignored me. So now after waiting a short moment the manager comes to do my toppings. All I wanted was a dressing. No other toppings on my nachos, enchilada, or Nino quesadilla. As I walk to the register to pay the RUDE male employee that made my order and made a big deal started to talk about me to the manager !!! In front of more customers!!! And then the manager began to laugh. That's when the male employee hunched up his shoulders like "OH well" and then laughed as well. That's when I had enough. So I asked a different employee who took my payment to speak with a manager. That's when the manager came and I asked him why are you guys talking about me in front of customers and what is so funny??? He says that rude employee said I got mad because I didn't know it came with corn tortillas on the enchilada. I said I didn't get mad because of that. I said I got upset because of your employees attitude! That's when I asked was he the general manager and he said it was someone named "Bre". Not once was an apology given and then I had to wait for them to refill the Mango lemonade in the dining room. That rude employee needs...
Read moreI have tried and tried and tried and tried with Cafe Rio. And, it just never works out. Location to location, it’s a different experience everyone you go to. I have written to Cafe Rio feedback online each time and they never get back to me. So, this is my final warning to all! Do not waste your time and money, just try somewhere else. It makes me so sad cause I love love love the food, but dang. They need to train their people. It’s just such bad service, no one ever knows what they’re doing. It’s insufferable! Last visit, I ordered on the app, arrived at my quoted time and they haven’t even made it yet. They say it doesn’t come through for 15 mins on their system so that delays making it. This has happened 4-5 times. I say, well I will show you my order then, and you can make it? She said no it needs to come through first. Ok well how about cancel my order online, and I’ll walk through the line then cause I want my food made now. I’m here. She says she doesn’t know how to do that. Finally my order comes through. One person making all 6 tacos. I said can someone help her? There are 5 people standing around. They say, no. We aren’t working mobile orders. LOL! Ok well let your one mobile order girl drowned then and I’ll wait longer k thanks. So that was my last time mobile ordering.
This time I tried in store. When I mobile order, I get sour cream on each taco for free it never charges. I say sour cream and he says how many cups. I said whatever it comes with I guess one on each. He looks blankly at me. I go what does it come with? The man says. I don’t know….how do you not know, can you ask someone then lol? He asks Anita I think her name was. She says none. I go well it always comes with one scoop each online. She stares blankly at me. Then goes it comes with one cup per order. I go..ok…you just said it came with none now it comes with one your app says it comes with more. Whatever! I move on. So I go to check out, look in bag. She gave me 1 single cup for six tacos. There are 3 tacos each, 2 orders. One for me one for my boyfriend. We can’t have one scoop of sour cream each? How are we going to share one per all 6 tacos. Listen I’m not trying to get free stuff, I’m trying to get what I always get for the price on your app, which most likely is correct. I doubt the companies app is wrong and the 22 year old worker is right. She gave me attitude and that was it. Next time if I ever want to deal with this headache again, I guess I’ll order 6 separate orders of tacos and pay 6 times so I can get one scoop of sour cream each taco.
Just, staff never knows the answers. It’s your job to know this! I should have to roll the dice on what will come with my taco each time I order it! And your mobile order stinks so I can’t even do it that way either. I complain to corporate they do nothing so now I have to do a review so hopefully feedback gets translated and received and they do something about this. I truly want to have a good experience here I don’t want to have to stop coming. The good is great. But....
Read moreI would have rated this location at a 5 if it wasn't for Perry he was so unprofessional few weeks ago I came into this location 45 minutes before closing time so I guess they were out of cheese witch is fine so this guy Perry decided to put a whole lot of mozzarella cheese on my nachos remind u the couple that was before me he wanrned then he was out of certain meats so I asked him was that the only cheese they had he answers yea and I go I wish u would have told me first and this man starts yelling at me really loud saying I don't have to tell u what kind of cheese I have back here it's my cheese and he literally Left my food sitting and walked off to the back I will be contacting my lawyer on him he was really being racist and treated a regular customer like crap he left my food just sitting on the counter and it was sitting there for about 3 minutes before another employee finished it his actions was really really really uncalled for He should not be working during this type of job Go back on the camera He got so upset because I asked him was that the only kind of cheese that they had remind you they have mozzarella shredded they have cheddar shredded and queso and I usually get the cheddar shredded I don't care too much for the mozzarella He didn't take the time to ask if I wanted mozzarella because that's all they had He decided that's what I wanted and he packed the whole lot on there without asking but the couple before me he was asking them was it okay with a certain kind of meat that they had but when it came to me he didn't give me that same treatment This guy needs...
