Corner Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Henderson

This was my first time going to the Corner Bakery. I was going there to pick up this raisin bread that my friend's mom brought for her from Virginia over the Thanksgiving break. I wasn't sure what it was called, but I new I had to get it for her after having a car wreck yesterday. I thought it would life her spirits. Luckily, she and her son weren't hurt, and I just wanted her to have something that brings a smile to her face. Thus, my husband drove us to Henderson from the Southwest of the valley, and we bought their Raisin Pecan Crisps (not sure of the long name). It was on top of the display case, and I was lucky to find my friend's bread since I only saw it once and couldn't find it on the menu. My friend put some Guatemalan jam on this bread, and I was hooked on it. I had to get a bag of the bread for myself to use with my Lilikoi and Guava butter I picked up in Honolulu. I also tried the Anaheim Panini, and I loved it. My husband and 9 year old tried a bite, and my 9 year old took the other half. I would definitely get that panini again, but I would like to try their soups. I would definitely go back since I enjoyed their food, and the staff was friendly and quick with my panini. By the time I filled up my cup with ice tea, a lady came out the kitchen with my sandwhich calling my name. Quick and friendly service for sure. Lastly, I bought two bags of MnM mini cookies for a little less than $5. One cookie had more than 20 mini MnMs. My son's loved them, but it was too much for my taste. I never leave negative reviews & Corner Bakery used to be one of my favorite places however I was so disappointed with my experience today. I placed a catering order yesterday evening for pick up today between 7:30-7:45am. I arrived at the drive thru at 7:40am only to be told they do not have my order. The cashier called someone over who simply stated they don’t have a ticket for my order. I told him I paid yesterday & showed him screenshots of my order. He stated they would make my order. The cashier who was the only one who offered an apology asked that I pull up in the parking lot & wait. I waited until 8:10am when my wife called & stated she received a rude call from Corner Bakery manager, Gabby, asking if she was going to pick up the order. She told them I was told to wait in the parking lot. Gabby hurriedly told her I have to go inside to pick up my order & did not give her a chance to speak. When I went inside I was told I should have told the cashier it was a catering order & he didn’t know because he is just a cashier. She did not offer an apology for the fact that I waited 20 minutes. When I tried to explain that I showed the employee a screenshot of my order & asked why someone did not come tell me in my car that I have to go inside to pick up my order, she repeatedly stated I should have told them it was a catering order & to sign the receipt. I am generally a patient customer & understand mistakes happen but I will admit her lack of accountability & dismissive, curt attitude made me angry. I will not be back to...

Tried to order food from the drive thru at 8 pm.Google and the drive thru stated they closed at 9 pm. There was a car in front of me, waiting for several mins and than pulled up to the next window. I then pulled up to speaker, and waited to be greeted no response. I said hello a few times, and still no answer. So I pulled forward to where the other car was now waiting at the window. She stated that they saw her and weren't trying to acknowledge her Finally, they did and she placed her order and left. I then pulled to the window, they looked at me paused for a min, and than opened the window and stated that they apoligize the speaker isn't working right now. I asked for the pancakes because it says they serve it all day. She seemed hesitant, she finally said ok would you like bacon and eggs with that? I said no just the pancakes. I also need a bblt with egg and avocado and salad as well. She tells Me, she can't do egg right now... but had just asked if I wanted eggs with the pancakes? Then I order the salad and said no walnuts and they proceed to put the walnuts on it. I had to pull back around to ask for the syrup and candied pecans that I originally asked for and one employee looked at me and then went to the main lobby, another employee looked at me and didn't come to the window finally a a male employee saw me and walked so slow to the window and acted like it he didnt want to come to the window.
