I've been a customer this place multiple times over the several years of living in the South Bay and I've never really found it to be that great. There's a Deli nearby whose food is a lot better, and takes half as long to make. I also recently was screamed at by the owner for parking my vehicle and front of his business. I have a handicap placard and got back in town from work and had nowhere else to park. I'm legitimately handicapped and I've had this placard for years and Andre, says he's the owner, not only screamed at me at the top of his lungs and said it people like me are ruining his business but even after I explained that I'm handicap after serving in the military, he said he didn't care that my car shouldn't be parked in front of his business ever. It was the most disgusting behavior of ever seen from a business owner in my entire life. He told me he doesn't care if I can park there legally or that I've been a customer of theirs for years, he doesn't like it when car is parked in front of his business for any reason unless they're coming in grabbing stuff and leaving.
I will obviously never, ever go to this place again and I suggest anyone with any level of patriotism do the same. As he screaming at me about how he doesn't care about my disability which was secondary to injury in a combat environment, he's wearing a shirt that says freedom on the front of it. Define irony. People like that make me sick...
Read moreGranny’s Deli isn’t just a deli—it’s a community hub, a local gem, and a second home. I go every day, not just because it’s conveniently down the street, but because the owners and staff treat you like family. They remember your name, your usual order, and even little details from past conversations—it’s the kind of personal touch you rarely find anymore.
The food is consistently delicious—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. But what makes Granny’s truly special is how deeply they care about the community. From sponsoring local projects to featuring small businesses’ products in their shop and welcoming young entrepreneurs on Lemonade Day, they’re constantly giving back and lifting others up.
It’s more than a place to grab a sandwich—it’s where connection happens. Granny’s is everything a neighborhood spot should be. I’m so grateful to have them in...

Love discovering local hidden gems and this is the definition of one, tucked away in an unsuspecting spot in a residential neighborhood. Granny’s packs a lot of unique goodies, drinks and snacks into a small space. The owner is just wonderful — his kindness radiates (thanks for welcoming us from Columbus!)! We took up his recommendation of the Mexican Street Corn pretzels and they were gone within 48 hours. We didn’t get a chance to try the sandwiches this time, so glad we have an excuse to come back. Thanks so much for a...
