Spencer's — Local services in Hickory

i hate to be this person, but i didn’t have the best experience today:( when i got to the register to check out, the lady asked if me & my friend were 18 & i told her yes as i am 19 & she asked me again if i was even though i had told her already. she then replied “well you look extremely young, especially you” and pointed at me. i started to pull out my id to show her but even after that she continued to say “yeah you literally look 16” and made it into a bigger deal then it needed to be. I have bought from here many times and never had a problem. IDs are not required in Spencer’s so even if i hadn’t been of age i don’t feel like it was her place to talk about my business the way she did. this may have not meant to have been an insult or come across in a rude way, but due to this uncomfortable experience i don’t feel as though i will be comfortable shopping...

Horrible experience at the Spencer's store in hickory nc.. Trying to get ideas and Christmas shop but the to people working so heavy set girl mostly and there was another but they seemed to have attitude problems toward me and my boyfriend and kids as well and very rushy and wouldnt even give me time to look without inrupting ,huffing an puffing and rolling their eyes at all of us ....this store needs to hire people that are willing to deal with the public and other people and children as welll.....very disappointed and wont be back if I see them working there. Super disrespectful and shiuldnt be working for the public and that store especially if they dont like kids and cant be nice....first time ever having a bad experience there.....so watch out especially if you have kids they will yell at your kids and get horrible attitudes....disappointed yo day the...

I will not be buying anything else from spencers online. I bought 2 shirts. Paid almost $58 for both of them. Had them shipped to my house. Only 1 shirt showed up. Didn't receive a tracking number or anything for the other shirt. Till I emailed guest services. They gave me the tracking number then said it has been delivered. Said they don't give refunds to packages that deliver if you want refund file a police report. So no never again will I order another thing from...
