I live in in Lehi and plan on working out at the Lehi location once it re-opens in February. Because of timing I signed up in Highland.
The January Deal: I did do the $10 a month deal and despite the review written below (which is accurate) It works out better for me because I signed up more than one person in my household. The $145 fee is PER HOUSEHOLD, so if two or more people from the same household sign up it is still a good deal. I agree that it is in a way false advertising, but I was planning on joining that gym anyway and found this to be a better deal than what I would pay to join Anytime Fitness during any other month of the year.
The Facility: So far I really love the facility. I have worked out at much larger gyms before and my main issues have always been that the facilities aren't very clean and the machines are broken or outdated. At any gym you have issues with cleanliness but by far Anytime is cleaner than the other gyms I have excercised at (which include the Legacy Center, Golds and 24 hour) I love the smaller atmosphere, have never had an issue with being able to use a machine or weight area I wanted to use. I noticed last week that the wiring from the TV to the remote on one of the treadmills was frayed and no longer working. This morning it was fixed. I feel like the response time to repairing the machine was much quicker than it would have been at most gyms.
The Equipment: The equipment is the latest and greatest of gym equipment. All the treadmills have a personal TV with comcast cable hooked up. The scrrens are big too. The bikes have a great technology where you can go online at home and route your bike course, then come in and log in on the screen at the bike and work out to your custom program you set up at home. There are plenty of free weights, excersice balls and mats etc. to go around. Never a shortage from what I can tell.
The People: I have not met the owner, but so far the people I have met, Mason (he's actually the Lehi manager) and Alissa (A personal traininer), they have been great. Super nice and friendly and very helpful. I have been talking to Mason for a couple of months about signing up and quite frankly, he is one of the main reasons I ended up joining Anytime. He has been very helpful, especially during the transition of the Lehi facility.
Although I will begin working out in Lehi when it re opens next month, I love the experiences I have had so far at Anytime Highland. I reccomend it, especially if you don't want to work out in a meat market. I have had 4 children (a set of twins in there) and my body isn't what it used be. I feel comfortable and welcome regardless of my shape or...
Read moreThe overall maintenance of this gym is quite lacking. The facilities and restrooms were notably unclean, and not stocked accordingly. Moreover, the entry rules strictly limited music to headphones only, with no effort from management to provide background music. Signs throughout the gym harshly prohibited cell phone use.
Given that this gym is frequented by paying members who contribute monthly or annual dues, it's particularly frustrating to discover hidden fees for basic amenities. There's an additional equipment fee that should rightfully be included in the original membership price.
It's imperative that the franchise owner and manager prioritize member satisfaction and transparency, ensuring that the gym experience is not marred by unnecessary charges.

It is concerning that you scrutinized my profile and reviews for other businesses. This feels intrusive and inappropriate. Customers have the right to share honest opinions about their experiences.
My positive review of Alpine Physical Therapy was based on a genuine need for rehabilitation after a car accident. Implying that my review was an attempt to disparage your business is not only incorrect but also detracts from the valid concerns I raised.
I hope you can take all feedback, positive or negative, as an opportunity to improve...
Read moreI have been attempting to contact the owners of this gym for over two months. Their phone number is continuously either disconnected or their voicemail is full. I have sent two letters, requesting to cancel my membership. Still no response. I am getting ready to file a lawsuit. If you would like to join my lawsuit against this location’s owners, please contact me.
Update to Review (7/18): I finally reached the new owner, Tray Johnston, today. (I had to ask a couple of local family friends to drive to the club to try to help me speak to someone there. Last night, they found out the club had moved one building north and had a new phone number. No wonder I could never get through on the 763-1998#.) Mr Johnston was kind once I explained to him the hassle I’ve been going through, attempting to reach the club for over 2 months to cancel my membership. He said the old owner didn’t port any of the contact information over to corporate, so he wasn’t getting any of my letters, emails, or numerous research case requests I had submitted through ABC Financial. He initially asked that I come into the club to complete a form to cancel my membership, but then agreed to email the form to me tonight. He said he’ll cancel my membership immediately upon receiving my completed form. I’ll let everyone know how it goes from here. I’m hoping this is the end...
