Hudson Square South — Local services in Hoboken

For reference, I lived here for 3 years. Since new management has come in, things have gone dramatically down hill. Unless you want to live in a 14 story walk-up apartment, I advise steering clear of here. You will not find worse elevators in Hoboken, one if not both are constantly broken and under repair. Genuinely the worst "managed building" you will find in town. Property managers could not care less about tenants, they will try to hit you with every possible fee under the sun when you leave. They will also try to illegally jack your rent up 15-20% each lease renewal. The leasing office is beyond rude. The maintenance team is below average at best, they just duck tape things together that end up breaking again in a month. Everything in this building is outdated. You can find dramatically better options in Hoboken...

I have been here over a year and have had a great experience thus far. The employees who work at the concierge are both very friendly and helpful, which is greatly appreciated!

Management is typically responsive to calls/questions, and maintenance comes within a reasonable time (and have always been very helpful!!). The building location couldn't be better and I am very happy to have found this place!...

We've lived in Hudson Square South for over a decade. We've had nothing but a positive experience with the apartment, staff and management. Aside from some occasional elevator issues, the buildings are well up-kept, repairs and maintenance are handled quickly and promptly, and the management has always been responsive and friendly. The front desk/concierge team are some of the nicest and most helpful people...
