I normally don’t leave bad reviews but my experience at the Village in Hoboken was more than terrible. Rude guy behind the counter (wears glasses was working on 6/4/25 @ 8:05pm) absolutely a buzzkill. Went in for my first time and got treated horribly. Guy was condescending and egotistical when speaking to me. He then told me he didn’t accept credit card for payment. I had to run back to my car and find cash which luckily I had the exact amount which included a roll of quarters. The guy was about to not accept my roll of quarters because he “couldn’t count it”. I told him I would break the roll and count it for him. He scoffed at me and proceeded to annoyingly count my quarters. I would recommend going to either Blue Violet Dispensary or The Station instead of here if you're interested in buying cannabis in Hoboken. My experience at this store was disappointing; the staff didn't make any effort to welcome me or educate me about their products. The man serving me was wearing glasses seemed very disinterested, and showing no interest in answering my questions. It was uncomfortable payment experience. They promoted brands they didn't even have in stock, which was frustrating, the Lily Extracts Edibles. I asked if I could buy the one they had on the shelf and he said no which I guess I understand but it was a weird interaction. I had an amazing experience at Village! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was incredibly helpful.

Miracle, the cashier, was friendly and efficient, making checkout a breeze. She had a great attitude and even gave me some helpful recommendations. Jess, the customer service attendant, went above and beyond to answer my questions and guide me to the best products for my needs. She was super knowledgeable and patient, which made the whole process enjoyable.

Josh, the manager, was also fantastic—he took the time to ensure everything was running smoothly and made me feel like a valued customer. It’s clear that the team here takes pride in their work, and it really shows.
