When it comes to a business, it is very important for there to be consistency. For the past couple of months, I have been coming to this store for shahi kulfi. The first time I came, I was charged $2.66. The second, I was charged $2.75, and when I asked the owner about the price change, she stated that the price didn’t change at all, and it has always been $2.75. The third time I came in, I was charged $3, and when I asked why the price went up again, the owner stated that the price was $3 for a long time, and that I must’ve gone there a long time ago. Keep in mind that I this was all in the span of 2 months, and the same woman was present at the checkout each time. It is essential for there to be price tags on items in order to prevent these inconsistencies. I have read this businesses responses to reviews, and clearly they do not know how to respond to criticism. Some of the responses were outrageous, for example asking “Did we force you to buy this item”?? A business should take criticism and use it to improve the customer experience, and this business will not make it very far with...

Good things first: Friendly staff and the location. That's it
Recently moved to HollySprings, felt happy to see an Indian grocery store in this vicinity. The negative reviews are correct, they are pricey and the produce is not that fresh.
Initially I thought they were charging high prices as there are no other Indian grocery store near by, but it's not. They are actually seems to be greedy after encountering today's Rice bag price increase. If I am right, the lady is the owner, who asked regular staff to leave the counter and go to floor and started charging the double price for rice bag, by naming it as 'Custom Item'. When asked why this extra price($33), she said don't buy it then. That shows why the items in this store are pricey.
I usually support local businesses, but when they don't support people and the community in the needy times and try to exploit the situation, that business won't thrive in the long-term.
Hope they will take the feedback positively and correct their business model soon and grow along with...
Read moreI am a regular customer of this store. Last week, I bought some samosas and took them home. When I opened the package, I found that the samosas were deep-fried multiple times, very oily, dripping with oil, and burnt dark. When I returned to the store to inform them, they said this is how they serve them. I told them it was the first time I had seen this and showed them the samosas. The owner then shouted at me angrily, saying that if I wanted samosas, this is what I would get, and that they deep-fry the same samosas 2-3 times. He added that if I didn't like it, I should buy from a hotel instead. This is not the first time I have faced such issues. The same thing happened with their Pav Bhaji Pav, which was moldy with blue-green bread. When I tried to return it, the owner got angry and refused to accept the return. I want to advise everyone to please check the expiry dates on products, especially those imported from India, as sometimes the labels...
