I have literally never had a good experience at this Taco Bell. Quite honestly I donāt know why I keep coming back. They are ALWAYS slow. You will have at least a 20 minute wait. I donāt care what day it is, what time of day or what you order, you will NOT leave in less than 20 minutes. There is ALWAYS something wrong - they closed early, they are only accepting cash, the drive through is closed and you must come inside to order, etc. It is quite literally insane just how POORLY this Taco Bell is managed and has been managed for at least the last several years.
The most recent occurrence, I place the order ahead of time so that there would be no wait, came through the drive through (was told they that were only accepting cash but since I placed a mobile order it didnāt matter) get to the window, my food isnāt ready. Mind you, I placed the order 5 minutes ahead of arriving at the TB and only bought two tacos & a cheesy potato. I pull to the white line and am waiting. Five minutes later, no one has brought my food, only two tacos & a cheesy potatoā¦I wait several more minutes. Then I choose to go inside. There are at least 6 people working. There are two people inside eating, two waiting for their food and no one was in the drive through before me and one came several minutes after me, YET I am completely ignored standing at the counter. Finally, someone comes over and asks how they can help, I tell them. Instead of looking for my order, they carry on with pouring hot water down the sofa machine, they then go back to get more hot water - still havenāt looked for my order. They put the hot water down, suddenly remembering I exist and walk behind the line to ask about my food. Come back around from the counter and say āitāll be ready in a few minutesā and I ask āhow many more?ā And they say āwithin 5ā so I respond, āokay well if itāll be 5 I would just like to get a refund and leave so I can go homeā they say they understand and walk around the line and tell the manager that I am asking for a refund. After we finally paid, they told me to pull up and wait in front of the white line. I waited 25 more minutes watching behind me as 5 or 5 more cars paid and received their food. I got out of my car and went to the door. Someone was bringing my food then but I went inside and asked for a refund because it was unacceptable for 2 tacos to take that long of a wait. The one person offered me cinnamon twists and I kindly declined and asked to speak to a manager for a return. She rolled her eyes and turned and walked away. Talking about me and calling me derogatory names across the kitchen in ear shot of me and my daughter. The manager came and did not even ask me what the problem was. He just said in a very mean tone, itās going to take 7 days for the refund to process. Grabbed my card and my food. He slammed the food I had ordered into the trash and walked away. He came back with my card, I asked for a receipt of the return and asked why he threw away my food. He had no answer. I asked for my food back and he said he couldnāt give me food out of the trash. He walked away. And another girl came storming past me asking why someone let me in the store. There was one gentleman who worked there who was the nicest to me and was on his dinner break. He said he was sorry for how that all went down. I asked the front desk if I was going to get my food made but everyone was IGNORING ME!! I had to explain to my daughter as we got back in the car empty handed (after a long day of school and gymnastics and just tired and hungry) that some people in this world are just not kind and we have to learn to deal with it and stick up for ourselves at times. But ultimately show them love and patience. I told her they probably donāt have enough workers and are stressed but thatās not the way to act in customer service. Thinking this online order would get me ahead of the line, I still went ahead and got in the drive through. This is at 4PM on a Monday. 20 Minutes later I get to the window, which opens.. but I witness 5, FIVE, men standing around a register wondering why something isn't working? After 30 seconds to a minute I finally get acknowledged, asked what I ordered, and then he yells "pickup for (my name)".. then tells me they'll get started on that...
After a few minutes he asks me to pull forward where they'll bring me my food. So, at last, 35 minutes after ordering my food I get it. No, I didn't get any of the hot sauce I included in my order, because of course I didn't.
I feel like it's not even fair to include this but I got the good online app deal for a main dish plus a side and drink, my main being the cheesy gordida crunch. I promise you, I'm not just dunking on this place because I had to wait a long time.. but I was so disappointed. I worked in a takeout restaurant for 6 years and if I knew a person had waited 20 minutes for their food I would at least make sure they get what they paid for, but more than often hook them up with extra...
Not this place. I got a "cheesy gordida crunch" that was a soft shell wrapped around a hard shell with a sprinkle of cheese between them, inside that hard shell was maybe a gram of beef with a few ounces of sour cream and lettuce, as well as a sprinkle of tomato.
My previous visits to this location included their machines being down twice in the past 6 months so I couldn't pay with a card.
I get the feeling this branch is run by a scumbag who doesn't care how it's run as long as it's...
