I wasn't going to eat there, I was actually going to another restaurant and I was waiting for my husband to get his food. As I was standing there I saw something crawling out from their counter and it was a cockroach.. It scurried off the counter!! I said "it's roach" my husband thought it was a spider until it crawled backup on the counter and he realized it was a cockroach and that's when he smacked it off the counter and told the workers "you have roaches" There were 2 other girls who was going to order but, backed away. Shout to the staff that worked on Monday 7/29 around 3pm. I dropped my wallet and a generous person found it on the floor after I had finished and paid for my order. The gentleman behind the counter tried to chase me down after I was done eating and I could not hear him. I went back in a panic and my daughter got there before me and the staff asked a ton of questions to be sure they were giving it back to the right person. I visited Cajun Cafe on October 14, 2024 which has recently changed management and sad to say the food is NOT the same. Not even close. The potatoes were unseasoned and dry, the bourbon chicken was dry and lacking I guess you can say bourbon. My husband agreed.
