King Kalakaua Plaza — Local services in Honolulu

Just made it barely into this garage before it closed at 10pm due to HIEX Waikiki's limited parking garage. When we found parking it was also limited and more cramped than our other hotel garage. The attendant closed the garage before we even exited. The signs to exit were misleading, the elevator was down, and my aunt and I literally got stuck in the garage for a good 15 minutes until one of the guests staying at the plaza told us how to exit thru the emergency exit and bypass the alarms. Thank goodness we only parked in this overflow garage once....

Ok, so this is a hidden parking gem of Waikiki. If you are staying at royal Wyndham or holiday inn, expect to pay $36 per night plus tips. It adds up really quickly. We discovered this parking garage that is cheaper, though offered no in and out privileges. We were out and about most days so we only needed to park overnight anyway. Much cheaper option.
