I had a "Pretty Women" experience here yesterday. It was my first time in an actual Gucci store. I was excited, but also sad because my best friend and shopping buddy was not with me. I was greeted by a lovely lady wearing some type if Gucci jumpsuit and a man in a traditional suit. The man went away for a minute and I continued to talk to the lady as I took in the aesthetics of the store. I also mentioned I was from out of state, needed a new purse and that I was going to take pictures and send them to my friend who wasn't with me so she could help me pick out a bag and see the store, kind of like a virtual shopping assistant. The lady smiled and nodded. I took one picture of the shelves with the purses on it and the man came rushing over and told me I couldn't take any pictures of the display and asked if there was a particular bag I was interested in. I explained what I was doing and he repeated that I could not take pictures of the display and asked again if there was a particular bag I was interested in. I said no and started walking around to browse the rest of the store. The man then proceeded to hover over me and follow me closely as I walked through the store. His words were polite, but his tone and body language were quite the contrary and made me feel not welcome so I walked out. As a professional marketing and brand developer I really can't wrap my mind around it. Now instead of being an excited and engaged customer that shares their good experience with friends and family, which would have would have helped build Gucci's brand and reinforced its relevance. Now everytime I see the Gucci logo, I will remember that man and how he treated me. I will never buy another Gucci product again and I will share my negative experience with as many people as I can. All over a photograph of your product, which is already likely on your website or social media pages and can not be avoided in this day and age of digital technology, nor should it be. Here is the photo they don't want you to see. Spoiler alert; it's a pretty standard wall of bags.

The sales process and representatives were above Chanel and Louis Vuitton. They also had most inventory in stock. Hawaii gets special pricing as well compared to the mainland US. Great Gucci experience.

This store is huge! The first location I've been in that actually sells kids clothing. I loved the layout of the store 😍 💗 💕 the Sales Representative was very attention and knowledgeable

Shady salespeople at Kalakaua location!!! My daughter and I spent a good two hours in this store working with Ken. It was pleasant because Ken was. Great sales assistant but when it came to pay, Gucci refused to take My payment. I was using My United States issued Debit card, drawn from My bank account when Ken asked Me for a PIN number. I've had this same exact Debit card for over 3.5 years and was never issued or given an opportunity to create a PIN number. I always processed the payment as credit and signed to complete purchases. Ken put My chip card into the machine and when the pin request popped up, the machine timed out bacause I didn't type a pin in. We requested to run the card again but this time My daughter attempted to push the green O button on the right side of the card reader because this is the button every store (made a substantial purchase@ Jimmy Choo's just hours earlier off Kalakaua where I pushed the green O to process as credit without pin) opts for in cases of processing as credit versus pin debit combo. Instead of allowing My daughter to push the Green O, ken quickly moved the entire card reader away from her!!! I saw this and said were done then. I can see Ken was refusing to accept payment. He asked if we wanted to pay with any other means. Now I was going to pay a cash difference along with use My card. I feel he was hoping I was paying in cash ( I pulled out My cash envelope which contained exactly three thousand in 100 dollar bills) ken did see this and after further discussion with My daughter who was shopping with Me, we both feel Ken declined to process our card because he wanted us to pay cash. Bothered by this incident, I was determined to fly home with the two handbags and two wallets My daughter and I picked out. I called the Ala Moana Gucci and spoke to a Female store manager. I explained My situation@ the Kalakaua store to her and she stated every Gucci store is different but there is a default button to push to process payment if no PIN number is present. I go back to Kalakaua Gucci and speak with Stanley. Now he was in the store the previous evening when we were shopping with Ken. I explain to him My discussion with the manager@ Ala Moana Gucci and request he process My payment with the default instead of the associate letting the card reader time out or push the red X like Ken was doing... Stanley asked his manager if they could process the payment with the default button and the manager agreed. Stanley gathers the four items, I examine and okay the products and as he totals the purchase and I give Stanley My card, a female associate whispers into Stanley's ear and he states to Me, he is unable to process My card but can I pay with an alternate method... Now I get upset! I told him that the exact manager who said fifteen minutes prior they would clear payment is now refusing. Get your supervisor out here now is what I ordered. I then proceeded to call the manager from Ala Moana and I had her on My cell phone. She spoke briefly to the store manager, I don't recall his name but it was the man with black rimmed glasses. The manager agreed to bring the card reader out to witness My card being rejected. As the card was inserted, the pin request popped up, the manager presses the Red X which cancelled the card. I said to insert the card once more but instead of him canceling the payment, press the Green O. Well, I inserted My card and pressed the Green button and within three seconds, the Approved wording came up, the screen summarized My total transaction and gave Me an amount due for the difference. The store manager rushed to the back and he and Stanley emerged with My purchases and driver's license/ debit card. All after I gave the remainder due in cash. Overall we purchased out items from a Lovely brand, but this location is a pity. I've never had a store refuse to accept My payment Ever until I entered the Kalakaua...

Fantastic customer service from all staff members. The store was very organized, cleaned, and smelled good.

We were asked multiple times if we would like a beverage. The main staff member that helped us was Conny. She was very professional, kind, and thorough. She did not get annoyed with us having to try multiple shoe styles and sizes. Unfortunately, the style my husband wanted was not in stock but she offered to look at other locations to have it shipped to our home. Conny also provided her contact information and informed us to contact her before we come next time to check product stock.

She also let me look at a ton of handbags. I ended up just getting a card holder and she was not annoyed that I did not purchase a handbag this visit.

When leaving, all of the staff members...
