I would give zero stars if I could. The service provided here is supposed to be for medicinal purposes. If you respect the plant then you should respect the opportunity you've been given to provide a service to the community. I prefer to use carts. I have a few 510 thread batteries none of which have ever had any issue accepting carts from my normal dispensary. Having said that I happened to be in Waikiki and this was the closest to me. I also have to mention I have bought carts from this location on other occasions with no issue. However, on this occassion my cart mysteriously would not fit a vape pen that their cart fitted on prior purchases. When I first realized it didn't fit, I felt scammed. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but my instincts told me that if I went back, they would send me to Bruddah Joe's vape shop down the street to purchase a 510 thread battery. Some of you get what I'm saying here. It's not that local businesses shouldn't support each other, but I think it's unethical in this case. To make a long story a bit longer, when I went in and showed them how my other cart fit just fine on my battery, they suggested I buy a $10 battery from them. So I was wrong. They didn't send me to another shop to buy a 510 battery, they tried to sell me one of their own. I was under the impression dispensaries weren't supposed to sell accessories to use your medicine. Anywho, as I suspected the rep tried to upsell me with the battery and when I refused she offered me a 25% discount. On principle I of course refused and suggested that they gift me the $10 battery. She refused and she called the manager. Rather than give me the $10 battery, which is apparently made specifically for their business purposes, she refunded my money and I returned the product. Super convenient location right in Waikiki - was a 5 minute walk from the hotel! Spectacular bud as well at very decent prices. I liked the option to buy 1 gram of flower. I had a very short stay on the island and only needed a little bit so that was convenient to say the least. As a note this is a medical only dispensary - Hawaii does NOT offer recreational marijuana at this time so if you want to enter and purchase products at these dispensaries and you are from out of state you will need a 329 card from Hawaii. The 329 card recognizes your Medical Marijuana prescription in your home state. It took me about 2 days to get the 329 once I applied. The fee was $50. Its a little bit of leg work applying as you need to scan your license and medical card and fill out the application - don't wait until the last minute - I applied roughly a week before my trip but I think you can apply at least a month in advance and your 329 card is good for a few months. Overall not terrible for being able to purchase medical use marijuana on my trip conveniently and safely. The bud tenders were super friendly and explained everything to me and gave me suggestions of products based off my needs. Additional testing showed lead in parts of an Aloha Green cartridge, specifically sections of the casing that come in direct contact with the medication. Rosin sold at all locations is poor quality. Update: Recently tried some of there Gush Mints. The plant has definitely potential to be great , This is not the plants fault or even the guy who mixes nutes , That flower (pictures below magnified 200x) is the result of a medical cannabis company that puts its investors first , they are 3lb a light guys that probably don’t smoke , there goal is to sell cannabis and make money. The guy who grows it, probably not his fault too - he’s going to get fired if they don’t return on 3lb per light and probably going to get fired anyway for something dumb.

Weed clubs/Dispensaries can be good like fancy restaurants- they are out there and super expensive but when the fancy restaurants are selling McDonald’s caliber shit and acting like it’s top shelf seems to be the name of the game.
