We checked in to 1702 Cresent Park on Feb 7 at 2:30 PM for an 82 night stay. On Feb 8 at 6:15 AM I sent an email with a video showing a sliding Lanai door that was not closing properly and expressed my concern that it could fail with the current winds. Several hours later it broke and glass was spread through out the living area. I call the Lei Hawaii Reality office and advised what had occurred, while the person I spoke with could hear the glass breaking. After waiting until noon and no action I called several times enquiring about what was being done and where will we will be staying due to the broken glass and the high winds. At 4:00 PM and no one answering my calls, I walked to the Lei Hawaii Reality office and spoke with a receptionist who then made a phone call and advised me a plan was inplace to move us to a one bedroom hotel room they owned around the corner from Cresent Park. Only after my request and after fives days we were moved back to 1702 Cresent Park with a $500 credit for the trouble with the broken door glass, which was now boarded over with a piece of plywood.  After several window contractors inspected the door and no corrective action taken it was to remain boarded up for the duration of our stay. On 23 Feb we had the main area carpet professional cleaned after realizing how dirty it was.

Further issues were; A23 battery for ceiling fan remote control dead, Multiple light bulbs burnt out, Walkin tub (useless), shower wand not working, Wifi router intermittent (I called Spectrum for replacement), Dead smoke detectors were replaced, Water heater wiring not to code (fire hazard, 20 amps fed by 14 AWG stranded wires), Fridge died, 31 March, compact fridge delivered 2 Apr, Kitchen fawcett handle loose, Oven door does not close properly, Range hood disgustingly filthy, and Ensuite bathroom and kitchen sink drains...

I recently had a disappointing experience with this realty. They are not responsive and non professional. We moved in to the unit during Memorial Day weekend. Upon arrival, the unit was not clean, despite being assured it had undergone a deep cleaning, I still could see " obvious and removable " stain.

A week after that, we noticed that indoor AC unit made buzzing noise and send them a maintenance request. They weren't responsive and we had to call them multiple times then they finally responded and said they would have vendor to come. We gave them permission to come fix when we are not home. Even though we gave permission for the vendor to enter and fix the problem while we were not home, the realty company never informed us if or when the vendor actually came.

The noise is persistent.When we raised these concerns, we were met with a dismissive attitude. They said "Management has reported to me that the owner has declined any additional repairs. As we are renting out the unit as is with the condition, the owner is asking us to have the tenants leave the unit if they cannot accept the current condition. "

Overall, this realty company failed to meet basic standards of cleanliness and maintenance, and their unprofessional approach to handling issues made the experience even worse. I would not recommend renting from them. IF I CAN RATE THEM 0 STAR, I WOULD...

We recently rented a condo in Waikiki thru VRBO which this company managed. The pictures show the broken bed and nasty toe/fingerprints all over the foot of the bed. We contacted them and they were very slow to respond and when they did were not helpful. It was a short stay and we were busy enjoying the beaches so we didn't bother with them any further wasting our precious time. This was during peak Covid times so aren't things supposed to be extra clean and sanitized - the unit was dirty upon arrival, very poorly equipped and they were not understanding or caring about anything but their money. The description of the amenities in the building were flat out lies. We've stayed in this building numerous times in various units and this was by far the worst. We noticed their description stated a jacuzzi, bbq, and gym on-site; none of this was true and never has been. On top of everything, they gave us a 2 star review as a renter on VRBO out of spite. I can only assume because we had complained. Don't do business with these unscrupulous people. Where's your aloha Lei Hawaii Realty? Mahalo...
