My wife and I along with our 2 little girls moved to Oahu about 2 months ago. When we came to One Love (Kaka’ako) we knew we had found our new church home. From checking in the keiki’s to finding a seat for the service, we were treated like Ohana right away. The music was very spirit filled and authentic (I will probably use this word again)… Paster Waxer is without a doubt answering God’s calling on his life. He is honestly one of the best deliverers of scripture I have ever heard, and it doesn’t go light on the scripture at One Love! It ain’t cherry picked and it ain’t elementary either! I’ll also add that you will NOT fall asleep during the sermon cause Waxer is hyped up from start to finish man!! He gets you pumped up too! Honestly, It really is one of the most authentic churches we have ever been to. I love how much it shows respect to the island and it’s culture as well. If you’re looking for a church I highly encourage you to try out One Love!

My boyfriend and I have been on the hunt for a church in Oahu and we really liked the community of people at this church compared to others. Lots of age range from young to old. The service is way longer than any church either of us has ever attended. Opening song and prayer was about average maybe 15-20 minutes and then the pastors message was over an hour. It was pretty hard to follow and just extremely longer than anything we were used to. We arrived at 10:30 and had to leave a little after 12 because my boyfriend had a soccer game. The pastor was still speaking with no sign of an end and so we weren’t even able to receive communion. I'm 74 years old. I grew up in the church.i have had so many unanswered questions but lisining to your program I have learned so much. I find my self hanging on every word. I have been going back into your archives and I listen to two sermons a night. I found you when I lived in Hawaii. Now I live in Maryland . With my iPad I'm able to still listen to you. I want my family and friends to hear your messages also. God has truly given you a gift of teaching.to use for His kingdom.
