Ilikai 802 - our stay was from July 23 to July 31 of 2022. Nice condo and view of the Harbor. Sat on the lanai a lot when we were actually in the condo. Leaving the door open we had a good breeze. We only ran the air at night. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The kitchen sink water pressure was low, but I really didn’t care about that. The dishwasher worked fine and the place was clean. Conveniently located, the trash bin room was right by us and so was the laundry which took debit cards, I appreciated that. Had no issues with door dash deliveries. I could not see the Friday night fireworks from our balcony, but if you go down to the courtyard in the back you could see them just fine. I had no issue with sound even though the courtyard is right below. There was one night the music was loud but it ended at nine so really no issue. I highly recommend stopping at an ABC store and buying a beach umbrella and beach items like floats or boogie boards. I also advise getting over to the north shore beaches, they are gorgeous! The beach right behind the condos is very rocky, but you can walk further out on the shore line to left or right and beaches are better. I was lazy and Ubered everywhere I went but you are in a good location and can easily walk to a lot of places. Also the mall up the street is fabulous. We did walk there. I stayed with my 22 year old daughter. I would not have liked the unit for more than two grown people. There is a pull out, but I was told it was meant more for little ones than grown ups. Kitchen is stocked with pots pans silver ware and dishes a strainer, toaster and coffee maker. There was another gadget but I did not check it out and if I recall correctly they had a blender. What they did not have or I did not see was a cookie sheet. I recommend a private tour. I used @oahuwithlia. She was fabulous. I fell in love with Oahu, Hawaii and have every intention of returning some day. I would definitely book this exact unit again if it is available. One more thing to note they only have one snorkel fin set in the closet no other beach amenities. We bought some boogie boards and gave them away on our last day there. I saw a lot of passing on of beach gear as people were leaving. Also surfing lessons from Faith Surf School was excellent and they are close. Again you could walk there but we took an Uber. If you are looking at the condo I would recommend you book it, could be a comfortable stay for two adults and two or...

This review is for unit 510. We stayed there for a family vacation 12/28/24-1/4/25. Keep in mind this is an older building, so naturally the entire building could use an overhaul. But overall, the grounds are beautiful, as is the lobby. However, this unit itself is privately owned & managed by a property management company (Waikīkī Beach Rentals). Unfortunately we had numerous issues with this unit from day one, and had to contact the PMC on several occasions. When they dropped the ball, we located the owners through their listing agent (the unit is currently up for sale). In the beginning the owners attempted to be very helpful, offering to try to get our cleaning fee refunded, along with additional compensation. Although, the PMC did refund our cleaning fee at the request of the owners, ultimately the owners also dropped the ball & stopped communicating with us. The list is long on all the issues we encountered, but our main concerns were the filthiness of the ENTIRE condo, which we later learned had not been throughly cleaned prior to our arrival (only linens were changed). Because this is privately owned, there is no daily housekeeping services, which we knew. However, housekeeping did enter our unit on more than one occasion unannounced & without any prior notification. This was especially concerning since we were traveling with our toddler grandson. The icing on the cake was that on our second to last day a gigantic roach crawled across our 18 mo old grandsons foot! Because this unit is for sale, we did accommodate a few showings during our stay, which wasn’t a huge issue, but could be for others. Other than $45/day valet parking, there is no on-site parking. We ended up parking across the street at the Ilikai Marina/Red Lobster for $33/day. But the loading area in front of the building was a nightmare, which made coming/going with beach gear/groceries a pain because unless you are a registered guest with the Ilikai itself, you are not able to use the luggage carts. The elevators were also a bit challenging, so be prepared for long waits. We ended up just walking up/down the stairs, it was much quicker, even being on the 5th floor. The sunset views from this unit were the only highlight of this condo. I can without hesitation tell you, take your...

Ilikai #1343 is unbelievably wonderful. We actually were quite concerned about reserving this condo since it had NO reviews ... and in fact still doesn't. I figured (incorrectly) that the lack of reviews were since the condo was bad news and so were reviews received, and so none were published. But, this place was FANTASTIC. Of course, the biggest thing was the spectacular views. Such a huge panorama of beautiful sites to see looking out. And, if the sun is too bright, the windows all have great shades. There are two lanais with a total of 4 sliding glass doors. And, all the windows and doors were very clean ensuring a great view all the time. There are 3 separate air conditioning units that kept the condo very comfortable. The lanais had these little barrel chairs that look kind of funny. They were fairly comfortable. But, importantly, they swivel! Turns out with such a wide vista, that was very important and wonderful. The carpeting inside the condo seems quite new and very comfortable to walk on. The bed was very comfortable. The TV worked great. We've stayed in about 35 condos in Hawaii and some elsewhere, and we've stayed in lots of places all around Oahu. But, Ilikai #1343 is definitely one of our favorites. The only negatives. Hmmm. One AC unit (in the living area) made a frequent annoying noise when it drains ... even after the unit has been off for a while. I'm sure that can be fixed. Oh, and the kitchen faucet is loose. That needs to be tightened up. There is no dishwasher ... not a big deal for a short stay. But, otherwise, this place exceeded expectations, and not by a little, but by a LOT. I can't recommend it...

We had a marina view condo On the 5th floor which was very nice because we could see the ocean, beautiful sunsets and didn’t have the afternoon heat. The location was also wonderful - right on Waikiki with either access to the beach or shopping, restaurants and nightlife. The condo itself was clean and nice, but very bare. They said it was their 2nd home but they didn’t have any essentials so clearly it is a rental. Although there was a kitchen, it wasn’t convenient to use because there weren’t any basics - Coffee, salt and pepper, etc. The other thing was they had a thing about not using their AC. There were at least 3 obnoxious signs saying to turn the AC off when you left (so you could return to a hot condo?). The price they charged for the room included AC so not sure why they are so concerned. Same thing with cleaning - they charged a hefty $145 cleaning fee for the Studio yet they had explicit instructions to leave the place spic and span otherwise they’d charge you additional fees! Similarly, they explained how gracious they were to provide a teeny weeny shampoo bottle and 1 small soap for the bathroom (not shower), some tp but when that was gone, you had to purchase your own. When I go on vacation and stay at a resort, I don’t plan on buying TP. I’m glad we stayed there once but wouldn’t stay again unless they tone down their instructions to guests about how vacation and lower their fees for misc stuff.
