Stumbled upon this place when I was looking for poke nearby. Went to Foodland market like lots of people suggest but that one was not it! The man working at paradise poke was so nice, I got the Hawaiian bowl with had kalua pork 1 choice of poke and lomi salmon (which he advised me was just a tomato onion mix with little pieces of cooked salmon NOT a salmon poke) also we tried the shoyu ahi bowl and the ginger scallion ahi bowl. All the bowls were so good and fresh tasting we had poke here about 2 more times on our trip! I my husband and 2 kids loved this poke place! It's a decent amount of food for $15. The next times I got the bigger $18 bowl that you can choose two poke or just double up on one. Also got some cookies here The Cookie Lady Hawaii cornflake cookies! They're so crispy and delicious! I recommend coming here and if the small tables just outside the door are not sufficient there's an area just around the other side of the building where you can sit and eat! Must try!!!!

I can’t really rate the food since we were not able to had some. We decided to walk for about 20 minutes since we are craving for some poke. It says that they would close at 9PM. Got there at around 8 and its already closed. Tried to ask the person inside. Food maybe great based from the previous reviews, but if they don’t act professionally, meaning at least informing why they closed early that would have been much better. Will i try next time, probably not. There a lot of poke places, that we could go to with a few minutes walk or drive.

Huge disappointment. Highly overpriced. Horrible quality. I got the Hawaiian Bowl, which was supposed to be a combination of pork, salmon, and choice of poke. When I got the bowl, I saw diced tomato where the salmon should be, so I asked the owner if he’s sure this is salmon, and he said yes, it’s cooked salmon. I came home and dug around the entire bowl looking for my salmon and found two tiny bits hidden underneath the tomato (circled in my second photo). I feel scammed. I paid $20 and it was the biggest waste of my money in Waikīkī.

Inefficiently run. No organization. These two are more interested in talking with one another about what they want to do with the space then getting orders done.

Waited 35 minutes. Only to then listen to the guy have to be reminded of orders because he wrote nothing down, started serving people in order of their complains vs the order in which they ordered and then argued with me and said people who clearly ordered after me, and agreed with me, were here first.

You will come here and you will waste an entire hour on very basic, uncut, luke warm poke. Oh and you won’t get what you ordered because you’ll just ask to take whatever they have available because you just want to get out of there.

$30 and a 15% tip....

I was hesitant because all the reviews looked written by tourists (no offense), but we were doing a staycation at the ilikai and were too lazy to go Ala's Foodland.

The poke bowls were really good! Wayyy better than I expected. I'm not a poke snob, but it's better than Foodland... It's on-par with "Red fish", which I know is technically Foodland.

I got the spicy ahi and garlic tare, and wife and kids shared the Hawaiian bowl with limu poke. Everything was good... Portion was good enough for me; my two choice bowl was enough that I felt full, but not overly stuffed. Hawaiian bowl fed my wife and two kids.

Overall, really good poke, at a decent price, and that's coming from a...
