Talk about awkward. The security guy here was literally looking customers up and down as they came into the store and even followed some of them around as they TRIED to shop, my fiance and I included! Having someone following you around and watching your every move is extremely uncomfortable, to say the least, and it makes the overall shopping experience here HORRIBLE!!! It's impossible to COMFORTABLY browse through the store, search for your size then check out what's available / hanging from the racks, leisurely try on your selections, and basically just ENJOY yourselves whilst being watched by some random security guard for absolutely no reason! We spend a lot of our free time, along with our hard-earned money, at discount clothing stores like Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Burlington, etc. Ross is one of my favorite places to shop, and I have NEVER experienced nor witnessed ANYTHING like this before.. What happened today while shopping at this Ross location is definitely not the norm nor is it a reflection of any other Ross store that I've ever been to. Perhaps this location is experiencing an unusually high level of theft; that could possibly be the reason for the bizarre behavior displayed by the guard. I understand the correlation between loss prevention and low prices and theft honestly does drive high prices, so I can appreciate the efforts of security in regard to maintaining the prices Ross is known for; however, a surge in theft gives employees absolutely no right to treat customers like thieves! It's embarrassing, it's rude, it's disrespectful and highly offensive, it's wrong and it will quickly AND understandably have your customers taking their business elsewhere. I guarantee you that NO ONE will tolerate this mess for long. I can also assure you that Ross Corporate Offices will NOT condone their employees at this [or any other] location treating their VALUED customers this...
Read moreWhen I asked to use the fitting room I was told by the employee that it’s “too much work” and she “just can’t work that much” and then told me I needed to come back when the dressing rooms were open (it was 8 they closed at 10). I asked when they would be open and she said she didn’t know it just depends because she “can’t keep working so much”. She told me to try it on over my clothes in the middle of the store and go look in the mirror (which is uncomfortable for me but might’ve worked if I wasn’t layered up in winter attire). I attempted to try stuff on over my clothes as she proceeded to stand by the fitting room and watch me and then come up and once again say “sorry that’s just too much work for me to let you use a fitting room” like what??? Maybe she shouldn’t work there if opening the fitting room area in a CLOTHING STORE is too much for her to handle. Very unprofessional and I don’t plan on going back. That place is a mess and every last employee had an attitude for...
Read moreMy twin girls wanted to shop at Ross because they said they seen it on TicTok so we went...smh what did I get myself into? They are 14 and they wanted everything. They found so much, because there was a large variety to choose from. My son even found some nice trendy clothes to. I don't know where the less come in at not very many cute shirts, shoes, or pants were less, or may be it was the expensive taste 😅 🤔 any how they had a blast. The store was organized, some areas had a few items on the floor, but that tends to happen a lot in these stores. They have a large selection of name brand items. Friendly customer service. We will definitely shop here again. Highly...
