Five Stars for Inventory, Knowledge and Price Points!
A great find in one of the underrated towns/destination points in the USA - Hot Springs, AR.
Very neat vintage shop that appeals to just about any collector out there, with very few exceptions.
Jewelry, watches, pins, cufflinks, cups, mugs, glass wear, art work, linens, signs, political, military, Olympic-related, traditional, eccentric, Disney, originals, etc.
Where else can you purchase a part of history - American and World? Price points are fair/very fair.
The true standout is Paul. He is invested in every piece in his store. If you pick up any item there is a 98% chance that Paul knows the story behind it: what it is, the year it was made, the materials, who made it, where it has been, its relevance (high or low), and what makes it special or simply normal - but still very cool!
Rarely, but it happens, you will get a, "I know nothing about it, I thought it was neat." This makes the hunt and the browsing even better.
No hard selling at all and no boring stories.
You can find something here to add to your collection, start a collection, display or wear - authentic period jewelry, watches and cuff links that will make you stand out!
Make your way to Paul's for a nice diversion or a mission to find the rare find and be prepared for one of the neatest conversations of your day.
Bring cash! As of this time, cash-only.
A top each time I find myself in...
Read moreBUYERS BEWARE!!! PLEASE READ!!! I had the absolute worst experience in this shop, I am an avid antique shopper, and the owner was extremely rude! I walked in and immediately he started to eye me like I was going to steal something. (I'm hispanic btw) I look for unique antique glass and while I was shopping around he asked for me not to look at his items with my light (standard uv light no harm to any items up for sale). He seems like he is not interested in selling his items. I would take you business to the many other shops around downtown hot springs, or the outskirts of town. At least in those shops they will actually appreciate...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I went into this shop expecting to have a good shopping experience and this was far from it! The owner is extremely rude. He watches you like you are a theft. You look at items, and he doesn't want you to get too close to the items or even try and inspect the items that are up for sale. If he is looking for a no contact shopping experience, he needs to take his business to eBay. If you are looking to get some true authentic antiques, I would take your...
